This blog is a platform to share what I love in life: food (eat), travel (play), photography (art) and life (thoughts and ideas). With passion for food, I share my foodie adventures and indulgences here. “There is no love sincerer than the love of food.”

Traveling makes us a better human being as we recognise the similarities and celebrate the differences of cultures between where we travel to and where we come from. “The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.”

Photography do more than just capturing the best moments in our lives; they also help us tell our life stories. “Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”

  1. San Francisco Steak House another cheap ass tacky local creation, only locals will believe that this crap is from the states. Coz there is no such restaurant there, SF is not even known for steak, common using American sounding places always attract the attention of locals here and why? Coz Malaysians in general are very gullible, greedy, impatient, jaded and illiterate.
NYC has the top ranked steak house in the states 20 years in a row Peter Lugers average meal $300RM per person. Superb dry aged beef. Wrong marketing but still works! Haha you got it right dumb locals. Another fine example is Manhattan Fish Market another bs crap place. I am from NYC and the fish market there is nothing like the dumb manhattan fish market ad, Manhattan is not known for seafood. New England offers the best seafood on the northeast not Manhattan. So even wrong marketing flies in the land of the gullible. All a lie to draw dumb locals here to their sucky restaurant. The only place on the planet where dumb ass marketing works. FYI JCO Donuts is created by a hair dresser in Indonesia after tasting Krispy Kreme the original airy soft donut from the states. Big Apple another unoriginal crap launch after copying JCO donuts. Knowledge is power! Power to the people!

  2. Go back to NYC if you hate this country that much and u can enjoy your $300RM per person average meal, your original donuts, your original steaks…we don’t feel a thing and there is no loss if you leave this country. FYI, we are not dumb…people who talk and behave like you are. And it doenst mean that you come into a Malaysian blog critisizing Malaysians makes you more literate than any of us…

  3. You got it wrong, I am not critisizing but creating awareness for the gullible locals. Don’t be mislead by false advertsing in your highly corrupted country.

  4. I’m not sure if I am any more literate than you guys in land of the gullible but certainly not naive and easily deceived. Cmon praising junk food and worst referring to it as fine dining, how pathetic or low can one get.

  5. Sam you betther shaddup.. Expat is schooling you in the ways of gourmand. Malaysians are pretty stupid in the ways of dining. Here is an expert telling you what is good. He/She can be as arrogant as he/she wants coz he/she knows everything..

  6. to a degree, what expat said is correct. there are many restaurants or food outlets in Malaysia use American names to lure in local consumers because they lend some sort of illusion of legitimacy, confidence and attractiveness to the local products. it’s a plain and simple tactic called the deceiving marketing strategy. and this strategy is very popular among Chinese-owned companies because to them using a local name as a brand is very embarassing and the only way to rake in profits without showing your products are sub-quality and not anywhere near as good as the real thing is by deceiving gullible and the unaware public.

  8. while i can understand what Expat is saying, it still annoys me for generalizing Malaysian as “gullible, greedy, impatient, jaded and illiterate”
i have long known that fact that SF steakhouse aint coming from states, as well as the donut facts. but hey, my tummy didn’t complain so i think it’s a’right.
it does amuse me tho when locals put these so called ‘american’ dining place up in an invisible altar

  9. Expat and Borat Bruno, thanks for revealing the truth to educate us, the GULLIBLE Malaysian.

Of course we understand that this is a kind of marketing strategy. Therefore, after knowing the truth, what we, the Malaysian, can do is just take it or leave it or find from some other places. LOL.

To eksk, can replace the word “stupid” with other better word to describe Malaysian. Respecting others is respecting yourself.
