With the iPhone 4 hype and craze these few days, I would really want to get myself an iPhone but I’m too poor for it. Anyone of you could help me in getting this iPhone 4?
I don’t care and I want my iPhone!!! Just like the video below.
Haha… I came across this idea… Sell all my stuffs just to get the iPhone 4?! Do you want to buy some of my stuff? Some is just new and still in the unopen box!
Check out my gadgets below which suit you? Offer me a price please so that I could get my iPhone 4! arghh….
Look at some of my old gadgets…
Asus eeePC 1005HA – 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, and a 6 cell (Seldom use and only sitting at home, offer me a price!)
Maxis and Digi launched the most wanted phone of the year – iPhone 4. Will BlackBerry® Torch™ 9800 get such response when this smartphone launching? Let’s wait and see… Haha.
When I reached The Gardens, there’s already crowded with the crazy iPhone 4 fans waiting for their turn to grab the iPhone 4 and want to own them 1st. I can’t believe if I really queue up just to grab this iPhone but I don’t. Some told me that the crowd started queuing up from 5pm and ended at 7am. Crazy kan?
Check out the crazy crowd who’s waiting for the launch of the iPhone 4 so that they could grab theirs too!
Media registration for the launch and conference.
VIP Party at G6 (Gsix The Gardens)
Before the clock struck 12, the official launch the hall is already packed with media and lost control and they need to setup the barrier last min to control the crowd.
You can see how stress was the Maxis Chief Executive Officer, Sandip Das before the official launching as it was live telecast!
Sandip Das, Maxis CEO, presenting the iPhone 4 to one of Maxis’ first customers.
1st 60 customer of the Maxis iPhone 4 started to gone wild. haha…
Maxis Chief Executive Officer, Sandip Das said “The iPhone has raised the bar on consumer experience and opened up new worlds for its users. We are delighted that we
introduced the iPhone officially in Malaysia last year and are now bringing in the much awaited iPhone 4. In anticipation, we were the first off the block to launch the micro SIM a few months ago.”

Will update soon on the event and the rate and pricing. Have you done your comparison on the iPhone package from Maxis and Digi yet?
While most of you still waiting for the iPhone 4 to be launched by Digi or Maxis this Thursday, 23rd September 2010, I already got my iPhone 4! Don’t be jealous k coz this is my bro’s Singapore iPhone 4 set not mine… Singapore iPhone 4 16GB only SGD888 / 32GB SGD1,048 without contract.
Waiting part and guessing game is a paint. Finally Maxis is out with the iPhone plan and rates and able to pre-register but now still pending for Digi. Not to worry as it will be out in just a couple of hours and the iPhone 4 will be yours.
Anyway I will be going to the Maxis iPhone 4 launch at The Gardens Hotel, Midvalley tomorrow to check out the iPhone 4 and maybe grab one for myself since Digi is yet to show the details yet. =)
See iPhone 4 is so thin and sleek design. I’m loving it!
Is the antenna issue solve? Will we be given a free iPhone 4 Bumpers?
iPhone 4 vs BlackBerry!
My BlackBerry Curve 8520 is smaller than iPhone 4 a little but I prefer iPhone 4 because the screen size is bigger and in HD! My BlackBerry Curve 8520 cannot fight with this iPhone 4 and I love the iPhone 4 camera with focus which my BlackBerry can’t do it. I need a better camera phone so that I could just snap some food photo or some events photo in a better quality way.
See I can surf in bigger screen and facebook in a bigger touch screen too!
All new Apple iPhone 4 is now in Malaysia, no need to get Singapore iPhone anymore. Digi already announced that iPhone4 will be available next week and Maxis also set to release next week. Woots! Will Digi and Maxis launch the iPhone4 together?
I received this email yesterday from Digi!
Because you signed up to be the first to know, we’re now letting you know how you can be the first in line to own the new iPhone 4.
So, brace yourself – the iPhone 4 is finally on our shores and coming to you next week.
For more information on iPhone 4 plans and where to purchase, visit digi.com.my/iphone4 and everything will be revealed to you.
Are you excited about the all new iPhone 4? Will you be getting one for yourself? I’m still thinking whether to get 1 for myself or not.
Yes, finally Maxis and Digi website is up with the iPhone 4 registration or interest page now. Both telco are now fighting to promote and push for iPhone 4 now and getting their users to submit their email for the latest updates of the iPhone 4 availability. There’s no pricing of the iPhone 4 and the new data rate plan but I believe they will come up with more idea how to compete between this two telco.
The registration of interest does not treat as iPhone 4 per-order. You may also wait and see which telco could provide the best rate and best iPhone 4 package but I recon it will not be much different. Maxis registration page required much information compared to Digi page and Digi is using GoogleDoc to collect data, they are really smart and cost saving. =)
Despite of iPhone 4 antenna issue and screen issue I believe there’s still a lot of iPhone fans out there who’s dying for this. Will you be getting a free iPhone 4 bumper / case to solved the iPhone 4 antenna problem as well? =p
I’ve actually registered myself to both Maxis and Digi so that I could get the 1st hand information and details (e.g. when is the iPhone 4 available to Malaysia and the pricing of the iPhone 4 package) from both the telco.

iPhone 4 Design + Technology + Features
Engineered Glass
All the breakthrough technology in iPhone 4 is situated between two glossy panels of aluminosilicate glass — the same type of glass used in the windshields of helicopters and high-speed trains. Chemically strengthened to be 20 times stiffer and 30 times harder than plastic, the glass is ultradurable and more scratch resistant than ever. It’s also recyclable.
Retina Display
The 960-by-640 backlit LCD display boasts a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch, making it the highest-resolution phone screen ever. To achieve this, Apple engineers developed pixels so small — a mere 78 micrometers across — that the human eye can’t distinguish individual pixels. That makes text remarkably sharp and graphics incredibly vivid. IPS technology also provides excellent color and contrast from almost any viewing angle.
Stainless Steel Band
Created from our own alloy, then forged to be five times stronger than standard steel, the CNC-machined band is the mounting point for all the components of iPhone 4. The band provides impressive structural rigidity and allows for its incredibly thin, refined design. It also functions as both iPhone 4 antennas.
Apple A4 Processor
Apple engineers designed the A4 chip to be a remarkably powerful yet remarkably power-efficient mobile processor. With it, iPhone 4 can easily perform complex jobs such as multitasking, editing video, and placing FaceTime calls. All while maximizing battery life.
Gyro + Accelerometer
iPhone 4 is the first phone with a built-in three-axis gyroscope. When paired with the accelerometer, it makes iPhone 4 capable of advanced motion sensing such as user acceleration, angular velocity, and rotation rate. Translation: More motion gestures and greater precision for an even better gaming experience.
Camera + LED
The iPhone 4 camera shoots gorgeous 5-megapixel photos and stunning HD video. And with its advanced backside illumination sensor, it captures beautiful images even in low-light settings. The built-in LED flash does double duty. When you’re taking pictures, it works as a flash. When you’re shooting video it can stay on to light up the scene. And on the front of iPhone 4, the built-in camera is perfect for making FaceTime calls and shooting self-portraits.
Mic + Speaker
While most phones have only one microphone, iPhone 4 has two. The main mic, located on the bottom next to the speakers, is for phone and FaceTime calls, voice commands, and memos. The second mic, built into the top near the headphone jack, is for making your phone and video calls better. It works with the main mic to suppress unwanted and distracting background sounds, such as music and loud conversations. This dual-mic noise suppression helps make every conversation a quiet one.
Multi-Touch
With its large Multi-Touch display and innovative software, iPhone lets you control everything using just your fingers. How does it work? A panel laminated on the glass senses your touch using electrical fields. It can register multiple touches at once to support advanced gestures such as pinch to zoom, two-finger tap, and more. The panel then transmits the information to the Retina display below it.
Multitasking. Done the right way.
Now you can run your favorite third-party apps — and switch between them instantly — without slowing down the performance of the foreground app or draining the battery unnecessarily.* This smarter approach to multitasking is available only on iPhone.
iPhone 4 FaceTime
People have been dreaming about video calling for decades. iPhone 4 makes it a reality. With the tap of a button, you can wave hello to your kids, share a smile from across the globe, or watch your best friend laugh at your stories — iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 over Wi-Fi. No other phone makes staying in touch this much fun.
FaceTime works right out of the box — no need to set up a special account or screen name. And using FaceTime is as easy as it gets. Let’s say you want to start a video call with your best friend. Just find her entry in your Contacts and tap the FaceTime button. Or maybe you’re already on a voice call with her and you want to switch to video. Just tap the FaceTime button on the Phone screen. Either way, an invitation pops up on her iPhone 4 screen asking if she wants to join you. When she accepts, the video call begins. It’s all perfectly seamless. And it works in both portrait and landscape modes.
iPhone 4 has two built-in cameras, one on the front above the display and one on the back next to the LED flash. The front camera has been tuned for FaceTime. It has just the right field of view and focal length to focus on your face at arm’s length. So it always presents you in the best possible light.
iPhoneOS 4 is now iOS 4
Now you can run your favorite third-party apps — and switch between them instantly — without slowing down the performance of the foreground app or draining the battery unnecessarily.
Enjoying your Xpax BlackBerry? Do you know what’s the light blinking in your BlackBerry for? Here is a quick guide and tips to the BlackBerry LED indicators.
Blue – Blue is for Bluetooth.
A flashing blue light indicates an active connection via bluetooth. You could enable/disable this feature under “Options > Bluetooth > Menu > Options > LED Connection Indicator: On/Off”
Green – Green is for coverage indicator.
Who really wants to be continuously reminded they are in a service area? I definitely don’t need this, it’s a waste of your batt if it’s blinking all days! Anyway it’s off by default! You could enable/disable this “feature” under “Options > Screen/Keyboard > LED Coverage Indicator On/Off”
Red – This is the good one! A flashing red light indicates a new message is waiting. Check under your messages folder for any unread items.
You can choose to be notified of new messages visually under “Profiles > Advanced > [Select profile you wish to modify] > [Select message the application that you wish to modify on how's the notification] > Repeat Notification : LED Flashing/Off”
Yellow – Yellow indicates that you are running out of battery. Find a charger quickly!
Xpax is the 1st in Malaysia to bring BlackBerry prepaid daily unlimited plan at RM2.50 per day unlimited usage (RM75/month). RM2.50 per day meaning just like eating nasi lemak or roti kosong plus teh tarik for unlimited usage? Worth the money? Hmm… Surely worth from all the positive feedback that I received.
