It’s time of the year again where you start counting days till Hari Raya! Are you ready for Hari Raya celebration? There are quite a lot of things to do and some of preparations for the festive season include shopping for baju raya, baking cookies and spring clean the house.
Come Raya or any festive seasons, one of the things that the kids look forward to is definitely receiving raya packets 🙂 Just like ang pao, money packets are traditionally given by married couples to kids and parents as blessings and good luck. The green raya packets or Sampul Duit Raya comes in many different designs from floral, cartoon, family-themed, festive themed and more.
Let me share with you some of the exclusive green packets design :-
The raya packets by Media Prima features a classic design with wordings “Syukur Selalu, Terima Kasih and Maaf Zahir & Batin”. Pretty!
Come Hari Raya Aidilfitri, one of our favorite activities is eating. Usually, our Muslim friends will prepare a variety of scrumptious and mouthwatering food and cookies. The raya packets designed by Yakult this year features a lady and a man in traditional Malay costume holding a tray filled with delicious food and cookies. Each of the tray is also filled with Yakult, which I figure is Yakult’s way of reminding us to remember to drink Yakult for better digestion 🙂
The raya packets from Khind Malaysia is one my favorites as I’ve always loved family-themed packets. These beautiful raya packets comes in a set of four featuring family members : dad, mom, brother and sister. You can also combine the raya packets to form a lovely family portraits.
For Raya this year, Fashion Valet; a fashion retailer for women clothing, accessories and handbags printed a set of raya packets depicting the scenes of Hari Raya. You can form 3 different pictures of Raya with the lovely set of raya packets. The first picture is of a couple balik kampung, second is shopping for baju raya at Fashion Valet and lastly a picture of the elders preparing a feast to celebrate Raya. Real lovely!
Tonton printed its raya packets in bright shade of blue featuring Queen of Tonton, Dato’ Seri Vida and tonton ambassadors, Ayda Jebat and Redza Rosli. And best is, the back of the raya packets come with a code where you can be a Tonton VIP for FREE for a month! Woohoo!!!
