Our initial plan was to dine at Sushi Zanmai before catching Man of Steel movie later. However, the queue was superb long and so we decided to have a quick dinner at Zhia’s Kitchen Restaurant (如家小厨) instead.

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend but we haven’t had the chance to try till today. This restaurant is located outside the Old Wing, just right beside Kim Gary.

This restaurant serves delicious home cooked Chinese food at an affordable price considering it’s located in a shopping mall. The restaurant is bright and simple. Their menu is extensive with plenty of food and drinks options. The service was adequate, considering that it was a full house.

All outside food and drink will be charge at RM2.00 per item.

Usually you will only see signs which states “Outside Food/ Drinks Not Allowed” but here, you will be charge at RM2 per item for the food/ drinks you bring in to the restaurant!

Verdict: It’s a good place for fast, delicious and economical meal. The food taste was similar to those at Kim Gary but the pricing wise, cheaper! This is another option as Kim Gary is always packed especially during lunch hours, tea time and dinner.
