Yoshinoya @ Mid Valley, KL

After spending few hours at the baby expo at Mid Valley Exhibition Hall recently, my stomach began to growl and my knees felt wobbly. I looked around and spotted the newly opened Yoshinoya & Hanamaru Udon. I remember trying Yoshinoya beef bowl many years ago at 1 Utama and I kinda miss their popular gyudon (beef bowl). So I’m happy that Yoshinoya is now back in Malaysia =)

This Japanese fast food concept restaurant which replaced Waku-Waku Japanese Dining is located in between MUJI 無印良品 and Hanamaru Udon at Level 3 of Mid Valley Megamall, KL.

Yoshinoya operates a self-service system whereby diners place order, pay and then collect their own orders at the collection counter.

As both Yoshinoya and Hanamaru Udon are under the same management, diners can sit anywhere they want.

Verdict: Yoshinoya @ Mid Valley to me is the Japanese version of Mc Donald’s. They serve a good variety of Japanese food which include the famous gyudon (beef bowl rice), chicken oyako don, chicken teriyaki don, curry rice and more. If you’re in Mid Valley shopping and need a quick bite, Yoshinoya is a good choice to go for delicious and affordable Japanese fast food.

This blog is a platform to share what I love in life: food (eat), travel (play), photography (art) and life (thoughts and ideas). With passion for food, I share my foodie adventures and indulgences here. “There is no love sincerer than the love of food.”

Traveling makes us a better human being as we recognise the similarities and celebrate the differences of cultures between where we travel to and where we come from. “The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.”

Photography do more than just capturing the best moments in our lives; they also help us tell our life stories. “Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
