Where’s the best place to have dinner on a Friday night? If you can’t think of a good place to chill out, head over to TGI Fridays for good food + great company. There are many TGI Fridays’ outlets across Malaysia and all of them are located in shopping malls like 1 Utama Shopping Mall, Sunway Pyramid, IOI Mall, Subang Parade, The Curve, The Gardens Mid Valley and more.

TGI Fridays is an American casual dining restaurant serving a variety of American-style food with friendly service. TGI Fridays at IOI Mall is located next to Sakae Sushi and near the main entrance of the New Wing in IOI Mall.

TGI Fridays has a casual and relaxing atmosphere and the place is filled with antique decor.

Some of the interior details are really nice, especially the “In here, it’s always Friday” sign.

The menu features a wise selection of American food from starters, juicy burgers, pasta, steaks, ribs, indulgent desserts and more.

Triple Berries Smoothie (RM11.90)

We ordered bruschetta for starter which consists of baguette slices with olive oil and topped with marinated tomatoes and fresh basil drizzled with Balsamic vinegar.

Tennessee Burger (RM29.90)

TGI Fridays’ Tennessee Burgers consists of juicy 7-oz burger glazed with Tennessee sauce and stacked with two strips of crispy beef bacon and Monterey Jack cheese on a toasted bun.

Sizzling Chicken and Shrimp (RM35.90)

The sizzling chicken and shrimp is made of sauteed garlic-marinated chicken breast and plump shrimps tossed with zesty roma tomato-basil salsa. Served with onions and peppers and cheddar cheese mashed potatoes on a sizzling hot plate of melted Colby and jack cheese.

Brownie Obsession (RM18.90)

The brownie which is topped with vanilla ice cream is simply divine.

Verdict: TGI Fridays is the place to go if you’re looking for a casual dining restaurant. The atmosphere is good and service is friendly. Portions are always generous but food taste just average. It’s a great place to chill, eat and drink with friends after work! They have an amazing drink selections which include premium beer, wine, cocktail & mocktail.
