Price of the premium RON97 petrol went up 10sen to RM2.90! The price of RON97 fluctuates as the Government has lifted the subsidy for this petrol.

He said the price for diesel remain unchanged at RM1.80 per litre. Last week, the government had announced that the price of RON95 petrol would remain at RM1.90 per litre despite the hike in global oil prices recently.

So RON 97 Petrol Price increase only can pump RON 95 if not take public transport or car pool lo? Or should take bicycle? Good for keeping fit too!

Really? Price of RON97 petrol will change every first of the month? I don’t think so after increase it will remain increased and will hardly decrease! Right? Every day float? Every month float? So far I only see once reduce and all increase!

KUALA LUMPUR: The price of premium petrol RON97 has gone up by 10 sen. It’s now RM2.90 per litre.

Petrol Dealers Association of Malaysia (PDAM) deputy president Datuk Zulkifli Abdul Mokti said the increase was due to the soaring global fuel price that had hit USD120 (RM366) per barrel.

“Since the price of RON97 is floated according to world market prices from July 16 last year, it has seen a monthly review based on global prices and is adjusted at the beginning of each month.

“The 10 sen increase is purely in relation to global fuel prices,” he said.

He added that the prices of RON95 and diesel would remain the same.

RON 97汽油漲價10仙

（吉隆坡3日訊）RON 97汽油價格將在明日（4日）凌晨12時01分起價，每公升調漲10仙，即從目前每公升2令吉80仙，漲至2令吉90仙。

　RON 95和柴油則保持不變，分別是每公升1令吉90仙和每公升1令吉80仙。

　政府對RON 97價格採取自由浮動機制，由國際市價而定，在去年RON 97汽油共漲價4次，之后也有下調。

　去年5月，隨著國際油價衝破每桶100美元（約300令吉），RON 97油價調漲到最高的每公升2令吉90仙，不過後來又隨國際油價下降，而調回至2令吉80仙。

　RON 97去年4次漲價，分別是1月5日、2月1日、4月1日及5月4日，分別是每公升調漲10仙、20仙、20仙及20仙共調漲70仙。之后于去年6月16日下調10仙，即從原來的2令吉90仙調降至2令吉80仙。
