Lin Dan lost in Korean Open to Lee Hyun Ii (who lost to Lee Chong Wei last week in Malaysia Open). The 28-year-old Hyun-il made quick rebound from a first-game whitewash to dump world number one Lin Dan of China 4-21, 23-21, 25-23 in a 71-minute men’s singles final to win his first-ever home title.
It was only Hyun-il’s third win over Lin Dan in eight meetings. His other victories were recorded when he was in peak form in 2003. It was also Hyun-il’s first victory since he took a six-month break from the national team in 2006.
Lin Dan was not happy over the line judgment and the current South Korean singles and the former head coach of the Chinese team coach Li Mao was in the words of intense conflict.
Then Lin Dan angrily threw his racket on the ground. At such a time, he got a yellow card for his excessive behavior. Then the match continue and in the end Lin Dan lost to Lee Hyun-il.

DAVOS: Google Inc is interested to set up a base in Malaysia due to its huge ICT market, said Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
The Prime Minister said the Government’s development plans for the ICT industry were also in line with the company’s expansion programme.
“I was told that Malaysians formed the highest group of Google users in South-East Asia,” he told Malaysian journalists after meeting the US giant’s CEO Eric Schmidt on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum.
It is believed the world’s top Internet search engine company was eyeing Malaysia, India or Vietnam to set up its data centre facilities.
Abdullah said the company felt Malaysia was a good place for the base due to its strategic geographical location.
“They want to make their presence felt in Malaysia. It will be a big boost for our ICT industry,” he said.
Meanwhile, the shift of economic power from the West to the East will be one of the key topics of discussion at the World Economic Forum on East Asia in Kuala Lumpur on June 15 and 16.
This historic transformation must be handled with care, said Institute of Strategic and International Studies (Isis) Malaysia chairman and CEO Datuk Seri Mohamed Jawhar Hassan.
He said this would ensure it could become a productive, constructive transformation.
The meeting will bring together over 350 global and regional leaders in business, politics and intellectual thinkers to discuss opportunities in Asia and the potential risks.
1st my computer broke down. It broke down after I came back from badminton, I on my monitor and “OMG” why the graphic become CACATED. So I thought just restart then it will be fine. But the night mare started. It can’t on. It says “Hardware monitor detected some error”. Damn sad, the comp accompany me for so many years and I on it 24/7 seldom shutdown or restart.
Took it to fix @ ss2 Computer War (War.Mart) but that guy tell me not worth to fix coz my computer was actually 6-7years liao and he also can’t confirm what’s wrong. It might be my motherboard or the power supply problem. So in the end I decided to get a new PC @ Lowyat Plaza. Luckily there’s a public holiday for Thaipusam on Wednesday so I went to Lowyat and customized my PC. I got my complete system @ C-Zone, Lowyat.
It cost me RM2260.00 Wow, so I’m actually PK liao. Just bought my E228WFP 22″ LCD from DELL now new PC sumroe =( no $$$

Lee Chong Wei, the reigning Malaysian Open men’s singles champion, had to concede a walkover to South Korean Lee Hyun-il due to high fever in the second round of the championships, which is the second leg of the Super Series.
Lee Chong Wei gave up the match after winning the first game 21-19 and losing the second 17-21.
There were high hopes on the second seed Lee Chong Wei getting the better of Hyun-il once again after having beaten the latter in the final of the Malaysian Open on Sunday but it did not happen.
It was also a sad end for Chan Chong Ming-Choon Eng in the men’s doubles. After losing the first game 13-21, the duo did well to win the second 23-21 to force a rubber game against South Koreans Jung Jae-sung-Lee Yong dae.
But it proved too much for Choon Eng, who limped out with a knee injury at 3-11 in the decider of the second round match.
On the women doubles, also sad ending as Wong Mew Choo lost to Yun Hwa LEE (Korea). Top Malaysian women’s singles player Wong Mew Choo muffed a good opportunity to make a second consecutive semi-finals appearance in the Super Series. She was beaten 11-21, 16-21 in the first round by South Korean Lee Yun-hwa.
So, I will not be watching Final Live tomorrow as I was very disappointed and none of the Malaysian Players are playing.
I think our Malaysia players need to keep it up and keep on training and training without loosing hope so that only we could achieve good result in Olympic China on August.

“The congress will bring the world’s ICT giants to Malaysia,” Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Seri Dr Jamaluddin Jarjis told Malaysian journalists on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum annual meeting here.
He said Malaysia must continue to develop its ICT industry, particularly its technology entrepreneurs, as innovative knowledge could help drive the future economy.
Dr Jamaluddin said innovative strategies could be used to develop industries as the country could not just depend on exports of commodities like rubber and palm oil or its human expertise. more details
Thaipusam (Tamil: தைப்பூசம) (or Thai Poosam Kavady) is a Hindu festival celebrated mostly by the Tamil community on the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai (Jan/Feb). Pusam refers to a star that is at its highest point during the festival. The festival commemorates both the birthday of Lord Murugan (also Subramaniam), the youngest son of Shiva and Parvati, and the occasion when Parvati gave Murugan a vel (lance) so he could vanquish the evil demon Soorapadman. read more
KUALA LUMPUR: Thaipusam will be a public holiday in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.
Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who announced this yesterday to more than 20,000 people from the Indian community at MIC’s Gathering with the Prime Minister at the Badminton Stadium in Cheras yesterday, said he had considered the request by the MIC to declare Thaipusam a public holiday.
“We discussed this matter. They said that during Thaipusam there would be traffic jams everywhere in Kuala Lumpur and it is difficult to get to work. So let it be a holiday,” he said to cheers from the crowd.
Thaipusam, which falls on Wednesday, is already a public holiday in Selangor, Penang, Perak, Negri Sembilan and Johor.
When the crowd cheered, he said: “Why are you all cheering?” and the people replied: “Cuti! (Holiday).”
“But we must continue to work. When it is a holiday, we have a holiday. But when it is time to work, we must work hard. Promise this, promise this,” he said.
MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu thanked Abdullah for the public holiday in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.
“The Hindus in Malaysia have been waiting for a long time for such good news, and I hope they will not be disappointed,” he said.
Lee Chong Wei, you did it again, we are proud of you. Malaysia Boleh! =)
It was a nice match again another LEE from Korea! Lee Hyun Ii. The matches last about 1 hour plus.
It was a good show between both of them. This is because Lee Hyun Ii current couch is Li Mao which is Lee Chong Wei previous couch. So he might know all Lee Chong Wei weakness and setup a match between both of them, but in deed Lee Chong Wei showed his spirit and win over the games. once again congrats Chong Wei. =) There’s more game coming up so keep on your good tactic and keep improving match after match.
1st Match: 21-15
The first game was exciting
2nd Match: 11-21
The second game was a bit bored as Lee Chong Wei never perform any nice tactic.
3rd Match: 21-17
The last deciding game was good! After he change cloth, it’s where the power come and he’s good all the way to win the Malaysia Open 2008. This was his third title out of four.
