Coffee Stain by Joseph is a small and cosy cafe located just few shops away from Coffee Societe. Apart from coffee, Coffee Stain serves tea, smoothies, juices, salad, pasta, sandwiches and cakes.
Coffee Stain offers a cosy and comfortable place to relax and chill with friends. The interior is kept minimal and basic with bright lighting.
There’s a Siphon Coffee Maker display at the counter.
There’s a guide on the wall on the different types of coffee offered – espresso, espresso macchiato, latte, cappuccino, mocha, long black and etc. If you are undecided on what to have, get to know your drink first. If still unsure, get the friendly barista to recommend you a drink 😉
Panama’s best coffee; the award-winning Geisha coffee which is one of the best/most expensive coffee in the world is available here. It’s priced at RM80 per cup. I was told that this coffee is smooth with floral and citrusy taste.
The baristas here are clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. We had a short chat with Sam Tan; the head barista of Coffee Stain. She’s very friendly, passionate and thoroughly versed in coffee.
Flat White RM8.00 (+RM2.00 double shot)
This is the wife’s favorite blend. She said nothing but I can see a satisfied look from her face. Curious, I took a sip; indeed very nice. The espresso shot was aromatic and topped with the fresh steamed milk for a velvety smooth texture – it’s a perfect blend! This cup itself will keep us coming back for more.
Latte Macchiato RM9.00 (+RM2.00 for double shot)
Absolutely like Coffee Stain’s latte macchiato. It has just the right coffee aroma with foamy and slightly sweetened milk.
Verdict: Coffee Stain is a must visit if you are a coffee lover. As for me, I will definitely be back for the coffee.
