Restoran Prosperity Bowl is located behind Tang Pin Kitchen and is along the same row as The Lobsterman at SS2, Petaling Jaya. This shop was previously Tien Pin but now Tien Pin already have since relocated to another new shop. As the logo on the “Prosperity Bowl” suggest, their main specialty is Chicken. You can either have it with rice or koay teow (soup or dry).
The interior is cozy with marble tables and wooden chairs.
They serve chicken which are free from growth hormones, antibiotics and vaccines. Besides that, they claim that their chicken is meaty, lean and have succulent texture.
Koay Teow Soup (RM6.00)
This bowl of koay teow soup is simply divine. The koay teow is thin with silky smooth texture and garnished with slices of chicken, chicken, fish balls and lettuce. The broth is clear and flavorful.
Dry Noodles (RM6.00)
The noodles used are Mee Pok which is flat and yellow in colour. The mee pok is tossed with dark soy sauce and has ingredients like chicken slices, fish cake, chicken and crispy pork lards.
This noodle is served with a small bowl of soup with fish balls and lettuce. Taste not bad but I think Tang Pin’s Mee Pok taste better.
White Coffee (RM2.40)
The coffee is forgettable. Not really nice.
Passion Fruit Juice (RM5.00)
Love this passion fruit juice. It’s refreshing.
Verdict: The chicken served here is fresh, smooth and has a nice texture. I will definitely be back for the koay teow and chicken.
