It is less a day before Chinese New Year that falls on 12 February this year. As MCO is extended for another two weeks to 18 February 2021, it looks like Chinese New Year will be celebrated differently this year.
We might not be able to celebrate and have family gatherings this year, but thanks to advancement of technology, we can connect over calls or video to people that matters to us : family, friends and loved ones.
During Chinese New Year, one of the Chinese traditions is to give out red packets, hong bao (红包) or ang pow packets to children or family as a form of blessing. This year, I’ll be sharing some of the beautiful 2021 red packets collection. Hope this will be a useful reference for ang pow collectors or for those who are hunting for nice red packets to pack for children, family or loved ones.
