Standing Theory is a modern, industrial chic cafe smacked right in the neighborhood at SS2, PJ. This cosy cafe is located along the same row as the popular Wang Chiew Seafood Restaurant 黄记海鲜菜馆 and very near to Balai Bomba Damansara.

Inside Standing Theory is a pretty simple and cosy cafe with minimal decorations. I personally think that this cafe gives a modern and artsy feel with wooden tables, mismatched chairs, creative water pipe stools and vintage bare bulbs pendant lights.

Standing Theory have the menu written on a wall-sized chalkboard behind the counter. I had wanted to try their VD Roll and BBC Waffle but was too full after a heavy dinner so decided to settle for coffee and waffle only. Will definitely pay another visit to try the VD Roll & BBC Waffle 🙂

While the Flat White is creamy and smooth, I find that the coffee flavor is not so intense.

Enjoyed eating this light and crispy waffle. The crushed peanuts add a crunch while the ice-cream has a nice coconut flavor without being too strong. Very tropical!

Verdict: This cosy cafe is a perfect spot to grab a coffee and laze away the day with a good read or chat with friends.
