Rekindle is a new coffee place located along the same row as Pelita Nasi Kandar, SaveMart and Free Mori Bakery in SS2.
Upon entering, I instantly felt that Rekindle cafe is my kinda place with wooden mismatched furniture, exposed brick walls, nice deco and friendly staff welcoming you.
This newly opened cafe has a rustic charm and a cozy interior. Perfect for you to sit down, have a good cup of coffee and map out your day.
The very nice beanie bag corner – perfect to sit down and enjoy a quiet evening with a good novel.
Their simple drinks menu on the board at the cashier is broken out into: black & white coffee, chocolate drinks, tea or fresh juice. They do not serve main meals here, only light bites, sandwiches and melts. I thought it’ll be good if they serve mains here 😉
For desserts or cakes to go with your coffee, do check out their counter display at the cashier. The selection of cakes include carrot cake, red velvet cake, peanut butter chocolate nuttela hazelnut, tiramisu and etc.
Flat White (RM9)
My flat white is smooth with just the right amount of bitterness.
Cappuccino (RM9)
My cup of hot cappuccino was decent.
Carrot Cake (RM11.90)
Carrot cake and coffee seems to fit right in the fix. This carrot cake is so delicious! It is moist and the cream cheese frosting is not too sweet. You really gotta try this!
Verdict: Nice and cosy environment with a selection of delicious cakes and good coffee! Located at the busy street of SS2, Rekindle is the perfect place for you to get your caffeine fix!
