UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (www.toyota.com.my) has officially announced the estimated prices for the new 2013 Toyota Vios. With the announcement, the all-new Vios is now open for booking, earlier than its official launch in October. This all-new Vios which is a class above in every way, comes with a tag line ‘Value Beyond Belief’, featuring a new dynamic design and luxurious interior, along with its world-renowned performance and durability. Aside from that, the all-new Vios also comes with interior made with high quality material, comfortable seats, a more spacious cabin with improved leg room, larger trunk capacity, plus newly developed Suspension System for enhanced stability and comfort. The President of UMW Toyota Motor Datuk Ismet Suki was quoted saying “It is an excellent quality car at an affordable price that customers can be proud of.” The New 2013 Toyota Vios SPECIFICATIONS The all-new 2013 Toyota Vios will be assembled locally (CKD) at UMW Toyota Motor’s manufacturing facility, Assembly Services Sdn Bhd (ASSB) in Shah Alam. The all-new Toyota Vios is available in four variants; 1.5 TRD Sportivo, 1.5 G, 1.5 E and 1.5 J which is available in five-speed manual and four-speed automatic with Super ECT, Gate Shifter. All the variants is powered by Toyota’s famous VVT -i technology, 1.5-litre 1NZ-FE engine which produces 109 PS at 6,000 RPM and 141 Nm of torque at 4,200 RPM. The all-new Toyota Vios are equipped with various security features which includes the Anti-Lock Break System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), dual front Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) airbags, dual cell Reverse Sensor and etc. Aside from the standard features as stated above, the 1.5 E and above variants has more added features such as the Retractable Wing Mirrors with Turn Indicator. The 1.5 E variant comes with a 2-Tone (Grey & Black) Fabric Seats and a 60:40 Spilt Foldable Rear Seats whereas the Vios 1.5 G variant comes with a premium ivory-coloured interior, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio switch, dark ivory perforated leather seats, Projector Halogen headlamps and a Chrome front grille.
