2013 Kia Cerato Launched in Malaysia!

Naza Kia Malaysia has recently just launched the all-new 2013 Kia Cerato! The new Cerato will be available in two variants: 1.6-litre Gamma II MPI and a 2.0-litre NU MPI.
Both of the variations are mated to a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters. The 2013 Kia Cerato are priced from RM99,888 for 1.6L and RM118,888 for 2.0L.
The all-new Kia Cerato is the replacement model for Kia Forte as the Korean carmaker’s C-Segment challenger. Naza Kia Malaysia explained that the reason behind the name change is to ensure some international consistency. Thus, this new car model will not be named ‘Kia Forte’ but it will be called ‘Kia Cerato’!
For those who doesn’t know, the turning point for Kia Motors is the Kia Forte model and I’m driving one myself. In those days, people especially uncles and aunties will tell you not to buy Korean cars because there’s no 2nd hand resale value, maintenance cost is high, fuel consumption is high and etc.
However, people (especially the younger generations) have now have changed their perspective towards Korean manufactured cars. Kia Motors has since changed it’s brand image by changing the look of its products. It’s a 360degree change as their cars now are very different from the basic cars (eg. Kia Sephia) they began with.
Today, Kia’s vehicles are not only packed with modern technology but also nice design which turn the heads of many people. The Kia Forte certainly has made most of us look differently at Kia, and now came the new good looking Kia Cerato.

Naza Kia offers a 5-years warranty from the date of first registration with unlimited mileage.
