Please be informed that each Touch ‘n Go card has a lifespan of 10 years from the issuance date. In your case, the card was bought in September 1998 and will expire soon.
To avoid untoward incident, we advise you to replace the card at any Touch ‘n Go Sales and Reload Counters before August 2008 and it is free of charge. Please bri ng the card to the following counters :

Frequently Asked Question (FAQ)1. What is expired card?
Each Touch ‘n Go card has a lifespan of 10 years from the issuance date. Thus, Touch ‘n Go cards that exceeds more than 10 years from the issuance or date purchased is considered “expired”.The expired cards need to be replaced in order to avoid interruption due to wear and tear.
2. What will happens to the ‘expired’ cards?
Customers may experience difficulties of using the ‘expired’ card. For instance, usage failure at any point-of-usage such as toll lanes, TNG gates at LRTs, Monorails and KTM Komuters stations as well as Parking sites.3. What should I do if my ‘expired’ card fails to function at the point-of-usage?
Customer can check and have their card renewed at the nearest Touch ‘n Go counters at:• PLUS Expressways

4. Is there any charge to renew my ‘expired’ card?
Yes. RM10 will be charged to customers.5. My ‘expired’ card was replaced at your counter recently. I noticed an excess of RM5 in my card balance. Why does that happen?
If your card has a deposit of RM15, we will transfer RM10 from you deposit to a new Touch ‘n Go card as the card price. Whilst, the remaining balance of RM5 will be credited to your card as the card reload value.Your card deposit is refundable upon the termination of your old touch ‘n Go card provided the card is in good physical condition.
6. How can I check the purchase date or year of my Touch ‘n Go card?
Customer can call the Touch ‘n Go Careline Centre at 03-7628 5115, or email us at [email protected], or walk-in to any of our selected Touch ‘n Go Customer Service Counters.
