Back then when I was working in Damansara Jaya, I used to frequent Omitsu Koshi Japanese Restaurant with my colleagues for lunch. On one fine weekend afternoon, I revisit this place with The Wifey before heading to Inside Scoop for dessert.
This cosy Japanese restaurant is located behind Atria Shopping Centre, now under the revamp phase for new Atria SOFO Suites, and along the same row as Public Bank in Damansara Jaya.
Omitsu Koshi offers a wide variety of Japanese food from japanese salad, don, noodles, sushi, sashimi, kushiyaki and lots more. Besides ala-carte, they offer a good selection of lunch and dinner bento sets too.
Kappa Maki (RM6)
Kappa maki roll is my all-time favorite!
Unagi Roll (RM10)
No raw food for the preggy wife, so I ordered unagi roll for her.
Soft Shell Crab Roll (RM6)
No raw food for me wife means no sashimi for me too, I ordered the soft shell crab roll which taste decent.
Ten Cha Soba (RM19)
Ten Cha Soba is cold green tea buckwheat noodles served with cold soybean based soup and assorted ebi & vegetable tempura. Simple but really delicious!
Verdict: Omitsu Koshi is a cosy Japanese restaurant located behind Atria Shopping Mall in Damansara Jaya. The service is good, food is decent and affordably priced but don’t expect a nice ambience like other posh Japanese restaurant.
