Food Foundry at Section 17, PJ is a popular dining spot not only for those staying nearby but among foodies. This place is situated on the ground floor of Block B Happy Mansion flats occupying two separate lots; one corner and one intermediate lots.

Food Foundry is exactly what their tagline say “Your Neighbourhood Food Provider”. This eatery offers a wide variant of dishes, mainly western with a few Asian dishes in the menu.

Food Foundry is also known to serve one of the best Mille Crepes in town. Apart from the famous Nadeje in Malacca, Food Foundry is the only place in Klang Valley which serves Mille Crepe. Today, there’s Winter Lover Bakery, Dreamz Bakery and many more.

This pasta comprise of slices of duck meat tossed with chili, garlic and olive oil. Taste wise, it’s just so-so. I prefer the duck confit pasta at Ben’s.

The grilled lamb shoulder dish was nicely presented, and served with mashed potatoes and broccoli and slices of carrots. The lamb was good, but not superb. For this price, I would say that the portion was decent.

Verdict: This restaurant is best described as serving comfort food. Our only problem here was the service.This place is always crowded on weekends, so it’s best to make reservations first.
