Just like myBurgerlab’s, Crayon Burger, KGB Burger and The Grind Burger Bar, Fatboy’s Burger Bar is a burger joint serving American style food like burgers, hot dogs, fish and chips, smoothies, shakes and etc which is located in between Social and San Francisco Coffee Publika.

The interior is just like an American diner; pub like with casual setting and creative wall art decorating the wall.

There are many burger choices on the menu with funky names like Fat Basterd, Burgertory, Wimpy, Bushtucker and The Elvis.

Build your own burger where you

If nothing interest you, you can build your own burger where you’ll be able to select your choice of bun to patty, toppings and sauces. The price will depend on your choices of ingredients for the burger, it might cost a bomb.

Wimpy Burger (RM19.00)

The size of this Wimpy burger is half of Fat Basterd and is apparently one of Fatboy’s bestest selling burgers besides the Fat Basterd. Those with bigger appetite can upgrade and opt for Fat Basterd.

The burger comes with a single patty of your choice (beef, lamb or chicken), fried bacon, cheesy cheddar cheese, fried egg and Fatboy’s homemade BBQ sauce on a sesame bun. My choice of lamb patty was fresh and juicy, just the way I like it, while the sauce was sweet and tangy.

Unfortunately the buns did not meet my expectations, the texture of the buns weren’t soft and fluffy. IMO, myBurgerlab’s pillowy fluffy charcoal buns or KGB’s soft fluffy buns’ still my choice.

Pan Fried Salmon Fillet (RM25.00)

The salmon fillet is pan fried and topped with tangy lemon and creamy butter sauce. It’s served with house salad with balsamic vinegar dressing and smashed potatoes. A simple and healthy dish.

Verdict: A cool burger joint with casual ambience for friends or family gatherings over the weekend.
