“Woohoo!, is not merely an extension of TV production in Astro, but also our commitment to provide content that enriches life of the Chinese community. We are proud of Woohoo!, however the success doesn’t lie in the number of box office only, but the closer relationship built between us and the audience, and the benchmark we set for the local Chinese film industry,” said 周青元 Chiu Keng Guan.

The movie has garnered over RM4million gross box office despite it was only shown in 38 cinemas nationwide, beating the box office of Singaporean movies The Wedding Game and Love Matters in Malaysia.
