When I was researching for places to stay in Phuket, I wanted somewhere a little further away from the happening Bangla Road and the famous Patong Beach. My top three choices were Amari Phuket, Sea Pearl Villas Resort and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton and finally we decided on Sea Pearl Villas Resort, a fairly new resort nestled atop of Patong Hill with stunning views of Patong city.
We took a taxi from Phuket International Airport to the resort. The taxi fare cost us 1000baht and I conclude that public transport in Phuket (taxis, tuk tuks and motorbike taxis) are very pricey. I’ll tell you how we get around in Phuket in my next post 🙂

We booked a deluxe suite which comes with a stylish separate living room and a spacious comfortable bedroom with en-suite bathroom complete with rain shower and separate bathtub.
Our bed was decorated beautifully for our wedding anniversary – what a lovely surprise by the hotel!

There’s an old saying that goes, ‘Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper.’ I’m doing it the other way round coz I usually start my day with a light breakfast, moderate lunch but heavy dinner :/ that’s simply coz most of the good food are only available at night and if I were to eat light dinner I’ll be missing loads of good food!
Since it’s our last day in Phuket, we decided to just spend our time enjoying the resorts’ facilities 😉

Verdict: Sea Pearl Villas is a very relaxing resort with great facilities and amazing view of Patong city. Getting around Phuket is not a problem coz this resort provides complimentary shuttle bus which departs every hour from 10am to 8pm to Patong Beach and Jungceylon Shopping Mall.
