The Pakatan Rakyat organized a mass gathering yesterday; 8th May 2013 at Kelana Jaya MBPJ Stadium. All the Malaysian Rakyat were called to wear black to Kelana Jaya Stadium as a silent protest on the recent 13th Malaysian General Elections!
I parked at Paradigm Mall and then walk towards the Stadium. I read that some parked as far as Sunway and walked all the way to the Stadium. Salute you guys!
Human flow walking from Paradigm Mall never stop! I think that’s the only day you can see so many people with black shirts walking in a mall!
Smart businessmen take opportunity to make big bucks selling vuvuzela horns, Vendetta masks, water, t-shirts, snacks and etc.
A huge crowd estimated to be more than 200,000 of Malaysians gathered together to protest the results of the 13th General Elections (GE13). The estimation is based on all the participants in the Kelana Jaya Stadium + those people who stucked in the traffic jam and also in the human flow outside of the stadium!
The stadium really cannot take in any more people and it’s overflow! Serious and there’s no photochopped on what you see on the Facebook or Twitter or Instagram!

The event kicked off with the singing of our national anthem – Negaraku. It’s so touch when you sing Negaraku with so many Malaysian and I guess this could be my best ever life time experience!

It was quite difficult to hear what the speakers were saying from the place I stand (opposite the stage) apart from the sound of Vuvuzela. Now and then, I could hear repeated cries of ‘Ubah’ and ‘Ini Kali lah’ which was then cheered loudly by the crowd which had overflowed the stadium.
Among the leaders that were present that night were Hannah Yeoh, Wong Chen, PKR strategy director Rafizi Ramli, Nurul Izzah Anwar, Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, Teresa Kok, Ambiga Sreenevasan and many others.
No police, no outrider just take kapcai as the transport to reach Kelana Jaya Stadium for the perhimpunan yesterday!

Anwar Ibrahim advise all the Malaysian to wear black for the whole day this Saturday!
It’s really 1st time in the history that a highway turn into a huge car park literally and all the cars off the lights and park the car in the middle of highway and walk to the Kelana Jaya Stadium! Do you know that other than Superman, Batman also attended the #Black505 perhimpunan? The crowd and the jam were too massive till Batman can’t find his batmobile.

Once again, Malaysians from all walks of life have shown national unity, irregardless of race and religion. I am glad I was there to witness this spectacular event. It was really an eye opener and a very good experience. It’s so touching seeing so many Malaysian all stands together as one and t’s really awesome to see so many Malaysian here for the same objective.
