Hotel Review: KIP Hotel

During the recent school holidays, we stayed in KIP Hotel for a one night staycation. Strategically located, KIP Hotel is just about 15-minute drive to the city centre and it’s also a stone throw away from Genting Highlands and Batu Caves; making it a perfect place to stay for both business and leisure travelers.

The newly opened hotel is owned by KIP Group of Companies and is managed by the renowned Lexis Group of Hotels and Resorts. There are a total of 199 guest rooms ranging from Deluxe Queen to spacious Executive Suite with prices starting from RM148/night. All the guestrooms are beautifully designed in fun and vibrant colours.

We stayed in the Executive Suite, located on the highest floor, with a view of the lake and if you look further you’ll be able to spot KLCC. Our room was nicely furnished and spacious (666 sq. ft.) with two queen sized beds and a living and dining area separated from our spacious bedroom and bathroom. We loved the simplicity of this spacious room. Hotel guests can enjoy complimentary Wifi throughout your stay at KIP Hotel so that you can stay connected at all times. All the rooms come with a 40″ LCD TV with local & cable channels, coffee/ tea making facilities, safety box, smartphone/ tabs charger, hair dryer and iron/ ironing board.

My breakfast spread. Overall, there weren’t much choices of food available and I figure it’s Coz it’s priced at only RM18/pax hence the food selection was limited. However, you can always drive out to the city center for food 🙂

This blog is a platform to share what I love in life: food (eat), travel (play), photography (art) and life (thoughts and ideas). With passion for food, I share my foodie adventures and indulgences here. “There is no love sincerer than the love of food.”

Traveling makes us a better human being as we recognise the similarities and celebrate the differences of cultures between where we travel to and where we come from. “The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.”

Photography do more than just capturing the best moments in our lives; they also help us tell our life stories. “Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
