Just about two weeks ago, a new Burger Joint KGB (Killer Gourmet Burgers) opened in Jalan Telawi, Bangsar, right next to Milk & Butter and opposite the Shawn Cutler Hair Salon.
This burger joint is the newest addition to the many existing burger joints in town – Fatboy Burger, My Burger Lab, Burger Grind, Crayon Burger, Burgertory and Big Hug Burger. Seems like we are in the midst of the burger craze!
This burger place is rather small as it occupies just half a shop lot.
Their menu boasts 6 different burgers with fancy names like The Shack, Bash, The Tornado, Bobcat, Bella Bomb and Kick’N. Most of their burgers use beef patties and chicken is available too for those who can’t consume beef.

My order comes with free Cajun fries and one can of coke.
What really set this KGB Burgers apart from other burger joints is they actually stamped their KGB logo on the bun itself. Very unique and creative! Even burger joints like Mc Donald’s or Burger King doesn’t have their logo stamped on their bun.
The burger bun is superbly soft, faintly sweet and golden-yellow-orange in colour from the butter used. Thumbs up!
Close up of Bobcat consisting of grilled beef patty, green chili slaw, provolone cheese and jalapeno mayo. The beef patty is juicy and flavorful. And worry not, it wasn’t really spicy, just nice to give you the ‘kick’.
Here’s the good news for all burger fans! To celebrate its opening, the current promotion is you will get free fries and drink with any burger purchase until 20th June 2013. So hurry and grab your KGB today!
Verdict: Will make another trip here to try their other burger creations on the menu. Apart from burgers, the Kimchi with Bulgogi Beef Fries on their menu caught my attention. Will give it a try the next time I visit this burger joint.
