Riding on the phenomenal success of Woohoo! 大日子 (2010) and Great Day 天天好天 (2011), Malaysian director Chiu Keng Guan 周青元, aka Chiu導, has his latest film “The Journey 一路有你” set for release in 2014’s Chinese New Year.
Different from previous two films which cast prominent Astro and MyFM DJ as the main characters, “The Journey 一路有你” starred amateur actors such as 74-year old retiree Frankie Lee Sai Peng 李世平, Australian stage actor Ben Andrew Pfeiffer 班菲佛, winner of Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2007, Joanne Yew Hong Im 尤凤音, as well as the average men of the streets- kids and senior citizens which have little or no acting experience. This has added more realism into the movie compared to the previous two movies.

继2011年《大日子Woohoo!》和2012年《天天好天》之后，周青元执导的第三部贺岁电影。《一路有你》延续了前两部作品的温馨、感动又不失幽默的路线，是一部表现出无价亲情和共通人性的清新小品，并将金马仑、槟城、吉打、马六甲、柔佛等地的景色尽收其中。
70余岁的李世平、前美姐尤凤音和澳藉演员班菲佛（Ben Pfeiffer）的演出组合，让这部以父女亲情为主线，融合友情与中西文化差异的公路电影，激发出截然不同的火花。同时，《一路有你》也将本地华人独有的文化特色和节日庆典，包括除夕夜倒数活动、槟城姓周桥初八晚拜天公，以及柔佛古庙游神，巧妙地贯穿于剧情中。

The red carpet and gala premiere for 全民电影《一路有你》The Journey will be slated at 7pm on 18 January 2014, with a talk show featuring the director and the main casts, which will also be televised LIVE from The Boulevard @ Paradigm Mall, Petaling Jaya, starting 8pm through Astro AEC (Ch 301) and Astro Wah Lai Toi (Ch 311).
The Journey will also premiere in 11 cinemas nationwide for 100 lucky audiences at each location, on a first-come-first-serve basis.
