World meet tickets available now

The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) began making tickets for the World Championships available from yesterday.

The championships will be played at the Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil from Aug 13-19 and tickets for the early rounds have been priced between RM18 (free seating) and RM38. It will be RM28-RM68 for the quarter-finals and RM41-RM103 for the semi-finals and finals.

The BAM have made available packages for school children costing from RM8 for the early rounds to RM13 for the semi-finals and finals. Season tickets are also available between RM41 and RM428.

The championships deputy chairman, Datuk Mohd Al-Amin Majid, said that bookings could be made through the website www.protonwbc07.com and all the information on seating areas and pricing could be viewed too. The website was officially launched yesterday.

I have been waited for this event very long since the last “All England” which khoo kian keat and tan boon heong wont the final. I’m one of the badminton freak. So see you there =)
