Just follow these two simple steps!
1)Join the Facebook for Android Beta Testers group on Google.
2) Allow beta downloads by clicking Become a Tester in the Google Play Store.
Welcome to the Facebook for Android Beta Program
Before you download the beta app, here’s what you can expect:
The beta version will replace the regular Facebook app on your phone. Features in the app are in active development and might not work perfectly. We need your help to figure out what isn’t working. You can leave the program at any time and go back to using the regular version of Facebook. Learn how. Ready to start testing?
Follow these quick steps (after joining the Google Group):
1. Tap or click Become a Tester in the Google Play Store (you will need to join the Google Group before): http://bit.ly/121po70
2. Download Facebook from the Play Store to update your app
The email address on your Play Store account must match the one you used to join this Google Group. If you’re having trouble downloading the app, let us know.

Troubleshooting.
1. If the update does not appear in Google Play – you may need to restart your mobile device, after following the steps above.
2. 404 error – it means that you (A) have not joined our Google Group or (B) you may have joined with a different email address than your phone uses to connect to Google Play. Please join this Google Group: http://bit.ly/FBAndroidbeta
