Happy, the prepaid mobile plan that’s just nice. No fluff, just the things that you need at happy rates. If most of what you do is call and SMS, this is made with you in mind.

With Happy, you do not have to worry about who, where and how long you talk. Every Happy call you make is capped at RM0.99 no matter how long your call is. So be happy and talk as long as you need to.

What happens if the person you call does not have as much time you do? At Happy, we’ve thought about that too. Each call is charged at RM0.01 per second. This means that quick “Hi”s and “Bye”s won’t cost you much.

Can’t talk right now? You’ll be glad to know that with Happy, each SMS to your friends in any local operators costs only RM0.10.

AND, guess what? You also get 60 days validity with any reload. Now, that’s Happy long time.

Happy is designed to make you happy all of the time.
– So what’s the big Happy deal? Maximum RM0.99 per call
– Only RM0.01 per second up to 99 seconds
– Only RM0.10 per SMS to anyone
– 60 days validity with any reload

The Happy deal works for calls and SMS to all local numbers, all the time. And the best part is: there are no hidden charges.

This blog is a platform to share what I love in life: food (eat), travel (play), photography (art) and life (thoughts and ideas). With passion for food, I share my foodie adventures and indulgences here. “There is no love sincerer than the love of food.”

Traveling makes us a better human being as we recognise the similarities and celebrate the differences of cultures between where we travel to and where we come from. “The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.”

Photography do more than just capturing the best moments in our lives; they also help us tell our life stories. “Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”

  1. Is this a plan from Digi/Maxis/Celcom?? If it comes from neither of them, then..?? Digi/Maxis/Celcom earn what??

  2. hey, yes, it’s from Digi, but different branding.
All have different strategy don’t worry.

  3. You’re only half right to say Happy (014) network’s voice call rate is low.

It is only cheap if the other party is as free as you are to talk for up to 45 mins? If you’re a working person, or someone other than a raging hormonal teen… talking for 30 mins on the phone will get you fired, divorced or failing in exams. 🙂

People should realize that if you talk for 1 minute, the costs is 1 sen/sec x 60 = 60 sen.
    That’s 60sen a minute call.

Isn’t that the MOST EXPENSIVE rate Malaysia mobile users have ever seen in like half a decade.

You’ll have to speak for more than 7 minutes to make any savings at all as compared to other pre-paid mobile plans which charge 15-20sen a minute. Happy 014 may be capped at a maximum of 99sen, but even IF you talk for three minutes for 99sen, it’s still 33 sen a minute! More expensive than anything else in Malaysia.

    An example phone call:

Mr A: *ring* *ring* hey mum.
Mum: Oh hi, Mr A. When are you coming home for dinner?
Mr A: Not tonight mum. I am having dinner with my colleagues.
Mum: Ok. Then. No prob, we won’t wait up for you.
Mr A: OH…. but mum! Don’t hang up. Let’s talk for 7 minutes! Or else it’s a very expensive phone call at 60 sens a minute.
Mum: WHAT THE?! The vege is going to turn into chlorophyl plasma on the wok. You dumb child. I am hanging up now… @#$%

  4. Khin Yee, yes what you said is very true. But most Happy users are using it as second line instead of main line. So it should not be a problem, Happy users are Happier to tell you that they are Happy using this Happy plan =)

So for those who don’t like or not time to talk for long this plan is not suitable for you. That’s all I can say.

    Be Happy =)

  5. Yes. It’s most suitable for tourists, users who receive plenty of incoming phone calls, people who need a second line (for whatever reason… like iPhone usage- alternative to Maxis).

I plan to use Happy too for my iPhone… I have nothing against the network. But I think a lot of users out there are still quite misled by Happy’s services. I’ve met a few people who are excited about the 99sen phone calls without realizing the caveats in the plan.

    That’s why I commented here.
