PIKOM PC Fair 2010 (I) is here, which started from 2weeks ago (Early April). It is the 1st PC Fair of the year 2010. I went to PC Fair since few years back till now, every time there’s PC Fair I will sure go and have a visit no matter I have anything in mind to purchase or not. This year I would like to get the WD 1TB external HDD as my HDD gonna out of space coz took too much photo la! I want to get GPS (Papago / Garmin) too preferably with RMVB and AV-in support!

But for me, I still like PC Fair in PWTC better, because the KLCC PC Fair really badly manage for the past few times, all one way straight and if you decide to go out or halfway, you can’t! That’s the main problem, besides jam, crowded, expensive food, expensive car parking fees etc. What to do??

Last PC fair I bought a Asus EEEPC 1005HA netbook which is very good deal! But now all the netbook or notebook / laptop sure come with Win7 liao lo. Maybe there’s promo for HSBB from TMNet too?

This year I think there’s still Broadband war as the Potong campaign and new 3G Broadband in the market, Digi 3G Turbo etc… What I don’t like is they will keep shouting and line up and like blocking the road… arghhh… I have broadband d k… but still they will ask you to subscribe etc…!

Then maybe there’s antivirus war by Kaspersky (Jakie Chan as spoke person) and Avira (more nurse compare to last fair?) and Norton 360 too?!

Cannot get RM599 Dell Mini 9 although I can apply the coupon but failed at the end.

Refer to the previous post, Grab a Dell Mini 9 for only RM599 tonight – First 8 units only!‏, I cannot get my Dell Mini 9 at RM599! =(

This was my 2nd time buying Dell product online. The first time was Dell E228WFP 22″ Wide Screen LCD, it was a good experience but this time was bad. Something not right! I tried using 3 different Credit Card from different bank and Debit Card too but also failed. It’s so troublesome for me and I need to call the bank 1 by 1 to check whether there was a transaction for it or not if not I will be in trouble of paying RM599 * 3 and not getting anything for it because failed.

This is what happened…

Before discount (Dell midnight sales), it’s RM1099

I have been waited in front of my pc since 9.55pm and been trying to apply the coupon… and bingo got thru at 10pm sharp. So was very happy and excited. Woohooo…

Got the coupon applied successfully… thought really got it and prepare all my credit card details and happily keying all the required information.

then…

it prompt Error!

Wasting all my time and effort for this, and that’s not all, I have to call all the bank to make sure there’s no transaction went thru also to safeguard myself. I wanted to contact them thru phone but was greed by “Thank you for calling Dell, our call center are now closed…”, so I have no choice but to submit them an email hopefully they will reply. The cart was save in my account and I can still see RM599 Dell Mini 9 once I login to my account!
