Do you have a SGP iPhone Case? Or are you planning to buy SGP case? Think twice! Check out on the quality that I have below, or maybe just my case have this problem?
Click the image for larger resolution.
I have posted on SGP Facebook page and email them thru SGP Store but what I get was the post deleted from FB and ignore from my email. I’m really disappointed!
The design is really good but the quality a bit bad and the customer service is totally nonsense! No doubt I love the design, but I paid 100+ just for this piece of shit? Don’t even want to acknowledge my problem and maybe resend me a new case?
Updates:
Finally they got my case replace but only the silicon part! Let’s see how long this replacement can last!
This will be my final words on this Windows Phone 7 – HTC HD7.
When I get hold of this HTC HD7 from Maxis10, I just love the big huge and high resolution screen. It can even use as a mirror, so for the ladies don’t need to bring extra mirro but just bring this phone will do.
Pros
- Clean interface and can be organized easily.
- Show live feed on home screen.
- Big and Huge screen.
- Thin and sleek design.
- Good quality build.
- Build in Kickstand which is good and convenient for watching movie!
- Quickly see everything you care about with Live tiles on your Start screen.
- Your contacts and Facebook updates. Together.
- View, edit, share and sync Office docs—from anywhere.
Cons
- I don’t really like the keyboard as I always type or hit the wrong letter, perhaps my bulky and fat finger =(
- Camera button is hard to press and caused shaky or blur image.
- Camera can’t remember the last settings and will back to default everything when you want to use the camera which is very annoying.
- Photo quality is bad in low light condition.
- Not really user friendly, need to explore for quite sometime only can know what to do or how to use.
- Lack of copy and paste functions.
- Need Zune software installed on PC only can copy / transfer image and videos.
- No true multitasking.
- No notification for Twitter Mention and Facebook!
All in all, this Windows Phone 7 – HTC HD7 is still a good phone. I believe most of the cons could be solved by waiting for the firmware update release by Microsoft but the question is when?

A phone’s main function is to connect you with other mobile users / friends / family / colleagues etc. Windows Phone 7 did very well in this under People Hub.
With the People Hub, all of your friends and contacts are in one place and they’re all up to date. So you can see all and know all about the people that matter most.
You just need to add in your Facebook account and the People Hub will take care of the rest!
The Windows Phone 7′s People Hub aggregates you friends from all of your social networks in three screens – Recent, All, What’s New. Recent tab will show you friends who have just updated their profiles or statuses in Facebook or MSN, while All tab will show you all of your friends as in contact book. What’s new tab quickly aggregates recent status updates all into a single feed. You can also quickly share your own status update thru the People Hub easily.
Should you wish to comment, Like or Dislike a particular Facebook status update, it can be done directly from the People Hub. Microsoft has tried to integrate what most users want from a phone within the OS itself, not various applications, that’s the power of Windows Phone 7′ People Hub.
Clicking on one of your contacts not only displays their number and other details you had inputted, you can scroll through their status updates. Any contact information on Facebook, such as their birthday, is also displayed.
You can also filter / search thru alphabetical order of your contacts at People Hub.
You shouldn’t have any problems bringing your contacts over to Windows Phone 7 if you keep them in the cloud on another platform.
While you’ll initially need to login with a Windows Live account, you can add Outlook, Facebook, Gmail and other POP or IMAP accounts without a problem, and choose what syncs from each (contacts, photos, calendar, email etc).
What I don’t like is all my junk contacts from when I used MSN since secondary school will sadly appear in the address book. Need to do massive cleanup!
While the new operating system Windows Phone 7 could be the most significant for Microsoft since losing the lead in the smartphone market to RIM’s BlackBerry, Apple’s iOS devices and Google’s Android operating system, the local launch was marred by the unavailability of Market Place / Hub that would have made Windows Phone 7 devices in this country more competitive.
Market Place / Hub is where you can try, buy, and search for apps, music, and games from your phone. It’s like AppStore for iPhone, but unfortunately, Market Place is not available in Malaysia yet. So if your Windows Live ID is tied to Malaysia then you will not be able to make full use of your Windows Phone 7, for my case is HTC HD7 from Maxis10 review unit, because of the unavailable of Market Hub.
Why would Microsoft launch this Windows Phone 7 but don’t want to support our country for the Market Place? If it’s not ready then why not wait till the Market Place launched? I’m really disappointed with that. As it is, the missing Marketplace puts Windows Phone 7 at somewhat of a disadvantage, because the smartphone operating system itself has no Twitter application nor an instant messaging client like Windows Live Messenger built in.
To over this disadvantage of not able to access Market Place, I have tried the workaround, which is changing the Windows Live profile country to Singapore and when setup the HTC HD7 also set it to Singapore as the default country. Bingo! By doing this, cheating your country, you will be able to download apps from Market Hub!
On the other hand, for gamers, Xbox Live on Windows Phone 7 is one of its biggest draws, as the feature allows Xbox 360 console users with Xbox Live accounts to log in on Windows Phone 7 to customise their Xbox Avatars and even add to their achievement points for mobile games played on the smartphone. I’m not a gamer myself so I have not actually tested on this.
Marketplace is organized into categories, starting with one that features apps from your mobile operator. You can use these categories to narrow your search and find the details for things that interest you most. For me, I’m looking at all the free apps at the moment before I jailbreak this HTC HD7, will do that in a later stage. =)
View the status of your downloaded items and discover what updates are available for stuff that’s already in your collection.
Important Tip!
Consider using your computer or Wi-Fi to download larger files. This reduces the time it would take if you used a standard connection, and ensures that you don’t go over any limits you may have in your data plan.
Don’t get me wrong! What I meant was Potong Kuku = cutting my fingernail just to use iPhone because if fingernail is too long it will be very difficult to use the touch screen and can’t scroll or type smoothly on the iPhone touch screen =)
Do you keep your fingernail and use iPhone? Don’t you feel it’s better with short fingernail for the girls?
