Just back from Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil, went there to watch Quarter Finals Malaysia Open and catched Datuk Lee Chong Wei in action. Woots! It’s a great sport. Recently just started to resume my weekly badminton session. Yes. Must keep fit la…
There’s a Mobile KFC Kiosk and Pizza Hut Kiosk. Do not worry you have nothing to eat, there’s food court inside Stadium Putra too.
This is the Hardcore Malaysia Badminton Supporter, you will see him everywhere when there’s Malaysia playing.
Hardcore Indonesia Badminton Supporter, a bit irritating la, when Malaysia playing Kacau saja…
Few things that disappoint me:-
1) They over sell the tickets for LT Premium which resulted some of the audiences seat along the stairway. If emergency or some unforeseen circumstances happened, then we might be stuck in the stadium and the consequences will be bad.
2) It was heavy rain outside, but it’s drizzling inside the hall. What does that mean? Yes, it’s leaking. Please fix it and yet once again we proofed that “Malaysia Boleh”. Luckily the rain drops / leak was at audience area if it’s in the court area then what a shame. So I was forced to wear rain coat at all time during the matches. Imagine that!
3) Rubbish everywhere leaving behind at the stadium. Please clear your own mess ppl!
Can you see that? Isn’t it an eyesore to you?
Jan O JORGENSEN – Shhhshhh… do not disturb me ok!?! At last he also lost to Tien Minh NGUYEN from Vietnam in just two game. This guy from Vietnam actually quite good and he beat Lee Chong Wei before. Will Lee Chong Wei and Tien Minh NGUYEN meet again in finals?

Beyonce’s concert postponed
PETALING JAYA: Fans of American superstar Beyonce Knowles will be disappointed again as the “bootylicious” singer has decided to postpone the Malaysian leg of her I am … Sasha Fierce concert.
The concert, scheduled for this Sunday night at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, has been postponed to another date which would be announced soon.
“The postponement is solely the decision of the artiste and has nothing to do with other external reasons,” organisers Marctensia and UCSI Communications said in a statement yesterday.

Fans who have purchased tickets but could not wait for the announcement of the new date could obtain a refund from Oct 26 to Nov 14 at the Ticket Axcess head office in Petaling Jaya. They can also call for details at 03-7711 5000 or log on to www.axcess.com.my.
The online social network Twitter was abuzz yesterday over whether the concert had been cancelled.
PAS had protested against Beyonce’s performance, citing her “inappropriate dressing” sense.
However, Information, Communi-cations and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said there was no reason to stop Beyonce from holding her show if she adhered to the regulations.
PETALING JAYA (Oct 19, 2009) : Beyonce’s first concert in Malaysia scheduled for Oct 25 has been postponed indefinitely.
While concert organisers are going into PR overdrive to contain the situation and look for an alternative date, it emerges that external factors and the artiste’s fickle-minded management have thrown a spanner in the works for Kuala Lumpur to be the Grammy-award winning singer’s first South East Asia date for her “I am …” World Tour.
A statement from organisers Marctensia attributes the postponement to the artiste’s camp, and said ticket holders can obtain refunds between Oct 26 and Nov 14 at the Ticket Axcess head office here.
“The organisers regret to inform you that Beyonce ‘I am …’ concert originally scheduled for Sunday Oct 25 at Bukit Jalil has been postponed to a future date, to be announced shortly,” said the e-mailed statement.
“The postponement is solely decision of the artiste and has nothing to do with other external reasons,” Marctensia said.
However, sources both in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore told theSun that Beyonce’s manager, her father Matthew Knowles, has imposed additional conditions for her to perform here.
“He wants an assurance for her security, including a personal assurance from the government that there will be no terrorists threats or attacks,” said a source.
A government source confirmed this, saying that the Malaysian Government has been very accommodating, where a letter from the Prime Minster’s Department was issued to Beyonce’s management assuring them of her safety.
It is understood that the US$450,000 (RM1.48 million) artiste fee has already been paid to Beyonce to secure her for the show here.
However, it had been revealed in this paper’s Down2Earth column on Oct 2 that there had been attempts by Singapore organisers to get the artiste to perform on the island republic when she was down there last month for the F1 Rocks show.
“They had used the protests against her by PAS to scare Beyonce’s people.
“The Malaysian government has been very helpful in getting the paperwork done to bring her down here. Now we have this,” said a source.
The statement from Marctensia goes on to say that the official postponement statement by Beyonce’s artiste management, Music World will be released this week.
It is learnt that 30,000 tickets have already been sold.
This is the second time that the artiste’s trip here has been scuttled. Last year, she ditched Kuala Lumpur in favour of Jakarta due to the strict dress code imposed by the Malaysian authiorities.
T Music Festival @ Bukit Jalil – around 7 hours concert, more than 73 songs were performed. I have captured some of the short clips so that if you did not have a chance to go there view live also can catch some insight here. =)
Khalil Fong 方大同
方大同演唱《Nothing Gonna Change My Love For You》時分享小時候誤以為音樂從冷氣口出來的笑話
The concert started at 7pm but it was stated by all the local or not so famous artists and went smoothly until around 10.30pm, then suddenly one of the cable caught on fire and blackout. I was shouting “Foh Zok AHHhHh!!! Fai Di Hui Gao Foh!” (快d去救火啊!) to the Rela ppl standing at the stairs but he did not heard it and till mins later all the work crews and Rela members all rush to the scene. I saw some of the crew use water, apalah later sot circuit la, should use fire extinguisher mah.
Is just like a scene in Final Destination 4 where the incident happened in the race track but this happened in stadium. We faster run to one side scare that it might explode or so. But luckily not!?! Some ppl even shouting for refund…
Finally they managed to out off the fire and try to change the cables and all. It took about 30mins+ to get the things done and leave all the crowds in darkness. Luckily the emcee of the night, MyFM DJ Nicholas and Mei Yan and another HK emcee use hailer to control the crowd and asked the artist to sing use the hailer and the audiences follow to sing along. It’s an experience that you properly will not get to experience in your life time. It’s really nice feeling.
Maybe the fire is just like candle for them to blow for Galaxy 15th birthday!
Video Captured by joshuaongys, I was too scare and run one side d, ahah he still can shooting over there. So how can organisers denied this and said the power failure was caused by a fuse problem? Weird thing is that Chinese Daily did mention that it’s small fire “小火災”?
I have a lot of videos clips recorded from Power Station 動力火車、李聖傑、David Tao 陶喆, 海鳴威 《我的回憶不是我的》, Justin 側田, Chin, James, Manhand, Soler, etc. Still need to process so stay tuned.
Outage fails to dampen show
KUALA LUMPUR: A power failure at the five-hour music marathon concert T Music Festival saw some of the performers coming up with impromptu ways to calm the audience down.
During the half-hour blackout on Saturday night, singers such as Z-Chen, Khalil Fong, Kay Tse and David Tao came onstage to interact with the audience.
Besides that, some singers even sang a cappella-style, much to the delight of the audience at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
Crowd pleaser: Hong Kong singer Justin Lo being flanked by dancers as he performed at the T Music Festival at Bukit Jalil on Saturday night.
While some fans claimed that they saw a fire during the power failure, a spokesman of the organisers denied this and said the power failure was caused by a fuse problem.
The massive crowd continued to enjoy performances when power was finally restored.
There were about 20 singers from Asian countries such as Taiwan, China, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
The concert line-up included Khalil Fong, Kay Tse, Justin Lo, Soler, Joey Yung, and Kenny Kwan from Hong Kong; David Tao, Power Station and Sam Lee from Taiwan; Jade Liu and Ocean from China; and James Chin from Thailand.
Bringing the Malaysian flavour to the show were local songbirds Z-Chen, Eric Lim, Manhand, Andrew Tan, Kay and Rickman.
Local singer Andrew Tan kicked-started the marathon-style show but it was Macau duo Soler that got the crowd rocking.
In all, more than 73 songs were performed.
The show ended with a performance from Hong Kong popular songstress Joey Yung.
待Chin繼續演唱後,原以為演唱會一切順利舉行。這回,卻輪到大馬歌手張智成的伴唱帶跳針,導致他無法順利演唱《快樂》以及《愛來得剛好》。無可奈何下,他清唱《I Will Always Love You》當做補償。他表示:「出道10年,總是被考驗,這些問題是難不倒愛唱歌的歌手們。」最後,在大合唱的協助下,他完成了《凌晨3點鐘》及《迷魂陣》。

Do you know who is Wang Lee hom? Leehom is an artist/producer/writer with SONY BMG Taiwan. He is also a film actor.
After studying music at the Eastman School of Music, Williams College, and the Berklee College of Music, Leehom burst into the Chinese pop music scene in 1998 with his album Revolution, which he both composed and produced, garnering awards for both “Best Male Artist of the Year” and “Best Producer of the Year” in Taiwan’s 1999 Golden Melody Awards, the “Grammies” of Chinese pop music. He was 23 years old, making him the youngest person ever to win the award in either of the two categories.
Since his debut, Leehom has consistently been nominated for the “Best Male Artist of the Year” award nine years in a row, solidifying his role as one of the most important, influential and prolific artists in Chinese music. Leehom was awarded again “The Best Producer” in 2004 and “The Best Male Vocalist” in 2006 by Golden Melody Award Committee.
Leehom plays over 10 musical instruments. In his albums and concerts, Leehom can be heard playing some or all of the instruments including: piano, drums, guitar, bass, violin, vibraphone, erhu, and xun. His concert tours are massive productions, 3 hour long shows in Asia’s largest arenas. In 2006, his solo concert toured in Taiwan, China, Japan, HK, Singapore and Malaysia, including a sold-out performance at the 80,000 seat Shanghai arena. Leehom did not study Chinese until he was 17, but is now fluent in both speech and writing. Leehom’s work ethic and dedication to Chinese music has inspired the Chinese young generation.
To me, Leehom is a very talented Artist / Singer, to most of the girls, Leehom is one of the most handsome Chinese Male singer. A lot of my friend who do not really speaks or know Chinese / Cantonese actually listen to his songs and they can memorized it very well and sing @ Karaoke, just imagine that!
Let’s hope Leehom will make a blast this year for his concert in Malaysia too.
