Tried out this 拾八风味 Room Eighteen at Tropicana City Mall last few weeks, overall it’s so so only but the price is a bit pricey! One Ala Carte dish could cost you about RM15++ gov tax, service tax…
BBQ Pork Rice – It’s good but expect it about RM15
Beef Hor Fun (Wet) – Normal saja… and it’s pricey too! You can have this at a cheaper price at any tai pai tong!

Black Sesame – Do not ever order this! It’s make from powder and taste watery… Worst.

It’s not recommended but if you want to give it a try, you may do so but do not put so much hope on it. Really disappointed as it’s a subsidiary of Tai Thong Group and I expect more!

Do you use the tunnel near Aman Suria and Tropicana Seafood, Tropicana Gold Club? If yes then you will feel the pain everyday when you have to bare the jam. Moreover the traffic light in the junction is forever rosak. Every time you pass by, you will only see yellow light blinking. Which will make the matter worst without the traffic light and you will see ppl start to jump queue and do not give way etc.
The other traffic light after the tunnel nearer to Tropicana entrance is the worst thing ever. It will make the traffic stand still just to give way to those big boss staying inside Tropicana Resort and it will make the jam even worst.
But in order to solve the problem, they built a new tunnel which is for traffic from Tropicana to Aman Suria / Dataran Prima exit to LDP, now each way will have a dedicated tunnel. Although the traffic will be a bit smoother but did they considered about the possible problem that might arise now? I foresee that accident will happen. Then all the minister will start to gather there and all the reporter will take photo of all the minister point at the junction or the tunnel? Do something please.
This is the u turn, this is because the new NKVE Tunnel can’t let you turn right like the old tunnel. Now all the motorists have to u turn further up in the road.

If you are planning for a “Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen” outing with your pals, check out the new 8-screen GSC Tropicana City at Tropicana City Mall this month end.
Get yourself acquainted first with the new 1,449-seater cinema which also provides two wheelchair space per hall for the physically challenged patrons as there will be a four-day free screenings for the public from this Saturday till Tues (June 20- 23) onwards.
Movies selected for the free screenings are as follows:
“Slumdog Millionaire”, “Dragonball Evolution”, “Race to Witch Mountain”, “Confessions of A Shopholic”, “Paul Bart: Mall Cop”, “Ip Man” (18SG), “Syurga Cinta” and “Ayan”.
You can easily redeem tickets for these free shows by cutting out any original GSC cinema listings via the newspaper and GSC website @ www.gsc.com.my to exchange for two free tickets per coupon / clipping each, on a first-come first-served basis, while tickets last. Each person is limited to four tickets (maximum) and the redemption exercise will start from 10am , June 20, 2009 onwards. Redemption of tickets is limited to the movies on the same day of redemption.
No advance redemption will be entertained. Full details of the movie schedule can be downloaded from GSC website and will also be available at GSC Tropicana City.
GSC Tropicana City is located on the second floor of Tropicana City Mall and will complement the 13-screen GSC 1 Utama (New Wing) in catering to the entertainment needs in the Petaling Jaya area and beyond.
