Personally I love this Sony NEX-F3K Interchangeable Lens Camera because it’s affordable and the small and slim design that packed with features!
Take stunning self-shots whenever you go with NEX-F3K. Thanks to its 180° Tiltable LCD Screen, you can compose and capture beautiful self portraits with absolute ease. What’s more, its 16.1 Megapixels APS-C size sensor ensures pictures of the highest quality, so you can look picture-perfect always.
Main Features of Sony NEX-F3K
-16.1 MP Exmor™ APS HD CMOS Sensor
-180º Tiltable LCD Screen
-AVCHD Full HD video recording
-11 Picture Effect modes
-Auto Portrait Framing
180° Flip LCD Screen
A fuss-free way to capture beautiful self-portraits
NEX-F3K makes it a breeze for you to snap beautifully composed self-portraits. As its 180° Tiltable LCD Screen can be tilted upwards to face you directly, it is easy to create a perfect picture of yourself and your friends. All you have to do is flip up the LCD screen, frame the shot, and press the shutter release button. It’s that simple.
Not only that, you could also take from very low angle easily which doesn’t require much effort with the help of flip screen!
Besides that you could take from very high angle as well but you will need to flip your camera around as that’s the limit of the flip screen but this is the method of tips to get a higher angle photo with the help of the flip screen! Try it!
Brighten the scene whenever you need
Now you won’t have to worry about forgetting to bring your external flash during your shoots. Whenever an extra burst of light is needed, you can count on the Built-in Flash to deliver the results you desire. The Built-in Flash provides ample light when combined with the APS-C size sensor’s high sensitivity performance, to produce brilliant flash photography in all settings.
This built in flash is really good and flexible and you could make use of the bounce flash effect too due to the flexible built, you just need to use your hand to hold on the flash and turn it to bounce flash instead of direct flash! So cool trick there you might want to take note!
16.1 Megapixels Exmor™ APS HD CMOS Sensor
Add more depth and drama to your images with a larger sensor
Thanks to its 16.1 Megapixels Exmor™ APS HD CMOS Sensor (APS-C size), NEX-F3K produces stunning image quality in almost any lighting conditions. The sensor’s extra-large surface area – same size as sensors found in advance-class DSLRs – heightens sensitivity in low-light conditions and strengthens background-defocusing effects. As a result, every picture you take comes with rich details, accurate colours and smooth tonal gradation for a more dramatic feel.

Start filming Full HD movies of life’s treasured moments in AVCHD. You’ll appreciate the natural smoothness that 60i (50i for PAL) brings to your movies. Auto Portrait Framing

Hollywood-styled event: An image showing the wedding invitation cards.
ODENSE (Denmark): Badminton champion Datuk Lee Chong Wei is ready to embark on a new “mission” now that he has won the Denmark Open title.
He will walk down the aisle on Nov 9 with former national number one Wong Mew Choo, his girlfriend of 11 years.
Lee said he would put everything into ensuring “a wedding that Wong has always dreamt of”.
“It is every woman’s dream to have the best wedding, and I know how important it is to Mew Choo,” said Chong Wei. “I want to make her happy. I want to surprise her with something special. After all, she has waited for 11 years. I want to throw all my energy into my wedding preparations now,” he said, a day after edging China’s Du Pengyu to win the title on his 30th birthday.
“It has been physically draining since the London Olympic Games, but I am happy that I am still able to win titles. Now, it’s time to ensure Mew Choo has a memorable wedding,” he added.
In KUALA LUMPUR, Lee’s elder brother Chong Hoon said the guest list was so long that the customary Chinese dinner would have to be held over two evenings to accommodate the 2,500 guests.
The private tea ceremony takes place at their home on Nov 9. It will be attended by their family, relatives and closest friends.
This will be followed by two dinners – one on the same night and another on Nov 10 – at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. These are expected to be attended by sports personalities, local and foreign dignitaries and business associates.
Ten of his fans will also stand a chance to win an invitation to the wedding dinner by staying up to date with Lee’s Facebook fan page (“Lee Chong Wei Official Fans Club”).
“We will post a question as a status update,” said Chong Hoon. “The 10 best answers will win the invite.”
Have you heard of Time-lapse photography? It’s actually very interesting and I always wanted to do one~! Anyone want to start a time lapse photography project together? Any idea what to take beside this Kuala Lumpur Day and Night? Haha.
Time-lapse photography is a technique whereby the frequency at which film frames are captured (the frame rate) is much lower than that used to view the sequence. When played at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster and thus lapsing. For example, an image of a scene may be captured once every second, then played back at 30 frames per second. The result is an apparent 30-times speed increase. Time-lapse photography can be considered the opposite of high speed photography or slow motion.
Processes that would normally appear subtle to the human eye, e.g. the motion of the sun and stars in the sky, become very pronounced. Time-lapse is the extreme version of the cinematography technique of undercranking, and can be confused with stop motion animation.
5 months. 400 hours of solid work. 4 cameras. 40 shoots. 640 gigabytes of file space. 19,997 photographs.
That’s how much work architectural photographer Rob Whitworth put in to create his dazzling 2 minute 36 second time lapse video of Kuala Lumpur.
When asked why he chose to create a time lapse video of Malaysia’s largest metropolis, Whitworth’s response is that Kuala Lumpur fascinates him.
“It’s hard not to be blown away by the Petronas Twin Towers. At night they are just beautiful. The towers, together with the monorail, give the city an almost science fiction feel. “I was fascinated by the city’s mixture of super-modern buildings existing alongside its varied cultural enclaves and with a little of Asia’s chaos thrown in,”he tells Yahoo! Malaysia.
Whitworth, who works out of Singapore, says time lapse has always interested him. He recalls one of his first high school projects, which was to document the passing of time by photographing flowers and fruit in their prime and revisiting them a few weeks later.
“I was intrigued at how many things constantly go on all around us which pass by largely unnoticed. Time lapse provides a great way to use a camera to show the world as we cannot see it,” he says.
His love affair with time lapse videos has won him critical acclaim. A recent video of Ho Chi Minh City posted online went viral and garnered 1.5 million views. That same video also won the Jury Award at the recent EcoKnights KL Eco Film Festival.
Whitworth says he was drawn to the idea of exploring how Kuala Lumpur changes from day to night when he began his project here.
“I was walking down Jalan Alor shortly after arriving in KL. It struck me how much the street changed and transformed during the course of the day.
“I liked the idea of exploring how the city changes from day to night, how spaces dramatically change during the course of a few hours. This developed into one of the themes shown in the video of scenes switching from day to night,” he says.
But enough talk. Here’s Whitworth’s tribute to Malaysia’s modern marvel. Watch it for yourself and bask in the city’s radiance.
Kuala Lumpur Time Lapse: super-modern buildings juxtaposed with various cultural enclaves and with a little of Asia’s chaos thrown in. My time lapse explores how the city changes from day to night highlighting how spaces dramatically alter during the course of a few hours.
The house will be going thru a huge renovation. There’s a lot of things to be taken care of when moving to a different chapter of life that’s marriage life and I need to provide the best for my wife.
It’s really headache to get a renovation work done and I would say renovation is really not an easy job and a lot of time and effort needed to plan and also costing involved.
1) Go search around for reliable and reasonable contractor to get quotation for extension and wet works. Compare the price and choose for the best contractor. (Extension, Painting, Electric Wiring, Plaster Ceiling, Hacking, Tiling / Flooring, etc)
2) You need to get approval from Majilis Perbandaran Subang Jaya (MPSJ) for renovation (Surat Kelulusan Pelan Bangunan). It’s not cheap also to get these two plans up (Architect Plan and Engineering Plan) and approval from MPSJ with Alam Flora Tong Rental.
4) You need to check all the current condition of the house and all. Currently my tangki bocor. Besides that there’s termites attacked that caused the wiring all koyak and need to spend money on pest control too!
5) You need to continue to scout for all the relevant materials (Kitchen Cabinet, Wardrobe, Tiles, Air Cond, Fridge, Washing Machine, TV, Furnitures, etc)
Arghh it’s really stress sometimes but enjoy the process though.
Now still in the process looking for :-
1) Kitchen Cabinet
There’s too many brand out there and I still don’t know which to choose as kitchen cabinet really take up a big sum in total. There’s so many material for the table top like Granite, Quartz, Solid Surface. Which to choose for the table top? What’s the cabinet material (3G Glass, Acrylic, Solid Wood, Melamine (ABS))?
Should I choose on walk in wardrobe instead or sliding door or swing door wardrobe?
What tiles to use? Homogeneous, Porcelain, Ceramic? So many brand (MML, White Horse, Guocera, Niro Granite, Venus, Alpha) out there how to make the decision?
4) Home Appliances
TV, Air Cond, Washing Machine, Oven, Microwave… (Panasonic, Sharp, Samsung, LG) This is the most headache part too!
Sofa, Bed, Dining Table, and a lots more to the list…
Any “Idea” or Any “Advise” on how to make the dream house even better? Or anyone want to sponsor or able to recommend or able to get any good lubang or give me a good deal on anything just do not hesitate to contact me! Haha.
This is my concept on the dream house and it’s still long way to go. Hopefully it will be materialized and it will be good and going smooth

Headache and pening but at the same time it’s very excited and I’m looking forward to! Also now, I’m finding for bridal house for my wedding photo shoot. Any recommendation that have good deal or any suggestion?! Last but not least I’m gonna be Featured Blogger of The Month (FBOTM) of October 2012! Woohoo! I blogged for so many years and I didn’t even think that I will be featured and I thought I’m just any millions of other bloggers out there that have the passion of writing blog.
Hmmm do you actually know what’s the real meaning of blogging? What’s a blog? Who’s the real blogger? Ahhh… I have no idea at all but everyone calling me a blogger because I own a blog? Duh!! Lolz. So, is that simply mean a person that writes or own a blog is a blogger? Are you one of a million blogger out there?
Many many years back during my secondary school days, yah it’s really long long time ago I think, people would have a personal site where we referred to as “homepage”, I think that’s the time I started to active in online stuff and find it interesting to own a website.
That time there’s no platform like blogger.com or wordpress but you need to write plain html code to host your page and it’s not that easy to publish a page because a lot of coding involved compared to now there’s such a nice editor and available for free everywhere. After you editing the code, you need to upload (FTP) it as to the server. It’s really leceh!
How saimatkong came about? I figure that, to get yourself easily recognized by people you must have a catchy name so that people would remember you better compared to those hard to remember and lengthy name. My name is “Simon Kong” and when you read repeatedly for few times it would read as “sai-mat-kong” and it’s significantly recognized in the Chinese because “sai-mat-kong” 驶么讲 in Cantonese means very proud of yourself!
Saimatkong’s blog is a platform for me to share what I know with my readers & social circles. Blogging is a great way to meet tribe who love my topic as much as i do. Blogging for me has been a path of self fulfillment that has become a journey of self discovery. Aside from that, i get to connect with other bloggers in the blogosphere community. There is nothing more rewarding than connecting with other bloggers who share the same passion.
When I first started blogging, i will just tell a few jokes and write down a few amusing anecdotes from my life. To me, if the stuff and content is good, then it should be shared and that’s what I’m still doing right now.
Content and quality are the things that matter in blogging. The content mustn’t be only good, but great! That’s when people come back for more.
I put efforts into creating the fascinating material others will love to read / catch attention such as
It’s actually telling my readers how to get the almost FREE and Original Apple Case!
I don’t only collect facts or information for my readers, but are constantly making an effort to present it in a most entertaining and accessible manner. When I decide to write about a particular topic, I do so because it genuinely interests me, and I hope to spark the reader’s interest. A lot people start to blog because they think that blogging can make good money but when the mindset is wrong and they blog for few months and still don’t see any monetary income then they will just stop there, that’s why you could see there’s a blooming of so called bloggers? :p
Because of my blog, I have a place to share things that I don’t want to be forgotten. My blog is a home for my ideas and thoughts; a place to connect and share ideas with my readers alike. When I started blogging, I had no idea what I was in for. I didn’t imagine it would lead me to a date with artistes and famous bloggers out there!
Hong Kong TVB Actors like Moses Chan 陳豪 (陈豪)
Hong Kong Singer like Eason Chan (陳奕迅)!
Local artist Namewee (黃明志)
I have to say that blogging never been such rewarding. I dream that I will be on newspaper, tv and radio, but it’s never a dream anymore as I have been featured in live TV interview by Astro Awani, MyFM recordings and also newspaper covering the my events.
I went to Astro for My FM 骑呢份子 recording. 骑呢份子 is one of the program in the morning segment 阳光灿烂. 林德荣 Jack Lim、颜薇恩 Gan Mei Yan和Jeff陈浩然 are the morning DJs. I must say it’s a good experience for me! Always wanted to on air and now finally I did it! =)
Many blogs provide commentary on a particular subject, some blogs function as more personal online diaries, some function more as online brand advertising of a particular individual or company. What about my blog (saimatkong) then? Mine is something simple and it’s just anything above the sea and blow the sky that I could reach literally.
I don’t specify on certain, specified topic or niche topic simply because I’m just a typical blogger who can’t keep writing on the same topic, because sometimes will not have anything to write on and would get bored easily and I think my readers would get bored too if I just talk about food or tech stuff all the way. I just don’t constraint myself to write on something but instead focus on what I feel the readers would like that read or google about.
What I really love is write something my readers would really appreciate of and useful to them as I have gone thru the hell of experience and just simplified the process and guide them, wouldn’t that be helpful rather than just plain boring updates? :p
A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, and other media related to its topic. I personally don’t like those lengthy blog post that consist of only text and text but those images and video would really add spice to the post and keep readers reading instead of just click on the cross button or skip to next blog. Besides that, the ability of readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important contribution to the popularity of many blogs. So I always try really really hard to get my readers attentions and that’s really a difficult task!
I will just do some crazy things to post online just to grab people’s attention like doing planking in MBK Mall @ Thailand.
Maximizing my influence as a blogger, I have organized a Charity Car Wash as part of my contribution back to the society to help the needy (Individual Social Responsibility). I feel really proud as I could do something and reward back to the society by not just go to work daily, eat and sleep, but do something meaningful in our life and also help those in need.
Throughout my years as a blogger, I’ve participated in numerous events, movie screenings, launches and parties organized by Nuffnang. Some of the unforgettable awesome events that I’ve attended like below.
With Kenny Sia excellent blogger and Joanne Peh 白薇秀, Singapore Actress @ Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blogger Awards, Singapore 2009
Nuffnang DiGi Pimp My Day Challenge
DiGi Pimp My Day Challenge, an on ground challenge where the winners will win 4 personalized laptops, external hard drives, routers, modems, headphones, thumb drives and many more! Yes we are the 1st prize winners!
Astro B.yond – The new HD Experience
I went for a shooting @ Desa Park Cityfor Astro B.yond tvc with some of the other bloggers.
The Largest Blogger’s Gathering with GATSBY Deodorant Street Fair into the Malaysia Book of Records. I’m in Malaysia Book of Records too!
Driving BMW3 series and BMW5 series and enjoying the ride plus full sponsored trip.
I’ve been with Nuffnang since the launching on early 2007 and it’s been a fruitful 5 years now! Really a lot of memories be it the good and the bad experiences. What I like most is to join all the events events which I able to meet bloggers and mingle around while can get some of the goodies and make some bucks out of it.
Without Nuffnang, saimatkong will be a different person and imagine that there’s no free movie screening, no free food, no free trips and event to attend, of coz that’s not FREE but just that I’m fortunate to be engaged.
I must thanks Nuffnang for what and who I’m today! If not because of Nuffnang I will not enjoy blogging or I might stop blogging and might not meet so many awesome blogger or people out there and some become my good friends.
