Lee Chong Wei and Wong Mew Choo make history in China Open 2007, Guangzhou. They have made it into final today.
It has never happened before but today Malaysias Wong Mew Choo pulled off amazing feats to reach her first ever finals in the China Open at Guangzhou by beat Xie Xingfang of China and claimed the China Open Super Series Women’s Single Title.
Yesterday, the 24-year-old Wong Mew Choo came full circle as far as beating players from China is concerned when she put on an incredible show to beat defending champion and Athens Olympic winner Zhang Ning 21-16, 21-19 in a fiery 41-minute encounter. With her first ever victory over the lanky Zhang Ning in their eight meetings yesterday, Mew Choo, the world No. 8, now holds the record of having beaten every current top national Chinese women players. Just a day ago, she sent world champion Zhu Lin packing in the quarter-finals. I predict her ranking will be increased very soon and she will be the one Malaysia depend on claiming a title in the Olympic next year 2008.
National No. 1 Wong Mew Choo won the China Open Super Series’ women’s singles in Guangzhou, China. She defeated world No. 1 Xie Xingfang of China, 21-16, 8-21, 21-17. It was Wong’s first Open title in her badminton career and Mew Choo pocketed US$17,250 (RM58,650) for her historic feat Sunday. (more…)
Haha this is very funny. Yesterday supposed to yam cha with my friends in Maybank Mamak, Seapark, but I was late and they said want to change place, so ok, I suggested Old Town White Coffee in Kota Damansara and they agreed.
Then I went to Old Town White Coffee in Kota Damansara and waited for them. At 1st thought of wait for them only order, luckily I ordered while waiting for them. So I wait and wait while enjoying my cup of Old Town White Coffe and Toss Bread, they still haven’t turn up and suddenly I receive a call.
Jit: “Where are you? We finished our coffee liao lo!”
Me: “Eh, I inside ma and also finishing my coffee too, never see you?”
Jit: “You inside or outside?”
Me: “Inside ah.”
Jit: “Eh, we also inside wor but never see you!”
Me: “Wahh, I think we in the different Old Town White Coffee leh, I told u Kota Damansa right? You in Pelangi Damansar that Old Town White Coffee? Alamak.”

Hmm.. why la.. after I waited so long for Digi to launch their 3G services and finally they could after tie up with Time dotCom. But there is no guarantee that DiGi.Com, which proposed last week to pay more than RM700mil for Time dotCom Bhds (TDC) 3G spectrum, will receive the spectrum licence since the latter is non-transferable.
I wanted to get myself a new PDA phone with 3G capable to replace my old Nokia 6670 since there’s promotions going on and I think now get that PDA phone with 3G also no use. What to do, we can only wait for the official announcement form the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) since the 3G spectrum license is not transferable unless with special permission of the minister.
But even Digi can’t get the 3G spectrum after the tie-up, I will still support and continue using Digi because Digi’s always the smartest choice.

It all began when Jolin bagged the top prize in the MTV singing competition at the tender age of 18. She was then signed on by Universal Music and a year later, her first single ‘Living With The World’ was released. It was sold in 7-11 stores and garnered very good response, leading to the release of her first album in 1999.
The album, ‘Jolin 1019′ sold more than 400,000 copies around Asia, and had several versions released around the globe. Following the success of her first album, she released her second album in May 2000, entitled ‘Don’t Stop’. Many of her songs in the album became extremely popular throughout Asia.
The latest album under her belt is ‘Secret Agent J’ ??J released in September 2007. This is another definite boost to her career and her popularity is expected to achieve greater heights, besides another round of ‘J-Storm’!
Me and few friends wanted to go for this Jolin Tsai Concert again after her last concert her in Kelana Jaya I think last year, but according to my friend, the ticket for RM120 is finished and RM180 is limited for 14 Dec Saturday and also the Geting rooms are all full be it First World, Theme Park Hotel… coz I tried to book but it’s not available.
