With the success of the first DRB-HICOM AUTOFEST 2013 held in January at EON Complex in Glenmarie, Shah Alam; DRB-HICOM Berhad the leading automotive conglomerate in Malaysia has successfully organized the second DRB-HICOM AUTOFEST 2013 at the SPICE (Subterranean Penang International Convention Exhibition or formerly known as PISA, Penang from 28th June 2013 till 30th June 2013.

DRB-HICOM AUTOFEST 2013 has successfully attracted the attention of more than 18,000 residents from Penang and other states.
The main objective of this DRB-HICOM AUTOFEST 2013 event is to increase the public knowledge of the brands under DRB-HICOM group companies. During the event, DRB-HICOM showcased 10 automotive brands under the group, namely Audi, Can-am, Honda, Isuzu, Lotus, Mitsubishi, MODENAS, PROTON, Suzuki and Volkswagen.
This event was also supported by the non-automotive companies like Multi Automotive Services and Assist (MASA) and DRB-HICOM Leasing (DLSB). There was DRB-HICOM group synergy participated by PUSPAKOM, ICAM and DRB-HICOM Human Capital as well as incorporation of finance and insurance services to exhibit their current products and special offers to the general public.
There were both indoor and outdoor activities at this DRB-HICOM AUTOFEST 2013. Among all the activities offered at the event, the Lotus Driving Experience and MODENAS Stunt Show were the most attractive outdoor activities. Both the activities managed to attract many participants.
There were convoys from several Car Clubs from the models of Suzuki, Proton Inspira, Preve, Exora, Saga, Persona, Satria, Lotus, Mitsubishi Triton Tuners Club and MODENAS joining the event.
Among the several indoor attractions were the showcase of Mitsubishi G4 Concept car exhibition, MODENAS new model launching, 118 EFI and Suzuki Jimny preview. All the car enthusiasts were thrilled and excited to see the new model launch. The kids on the other hand were also occupied with enjoyable activities lined up for them such as colouring contest and fun games.
The F&B stalls at the concourse area operated by Malaysian favorite fast food chain like Burger King, Pizza Hut and Rasamas was among the busiest and crowded area during the event days as the stalls were selling at a very competitive price.
The main attraction and highlight of this event was definitely the chance to win the grand lucky draw prizes which consists of a new Proton SAGA SV and MODENAS CTRIC bikes to name a few. In order to participate and qualify for the Grand Lucky Draw, visitors of 18 years and above were required to fill-up a form.
All the exhibitors at the event offered the visitors a special promotion and exclusive deals for their brands which can only be grabbed during the three days event.
PUSPAKOM mobile inspection team were also present at the DRB-HICOM AUTOFEST 2013 to offer free vehicle inspections to the early birds and vehicle owners.
